What's xhiring for Dane Jackson?

I can tell you from talking to people in the hockey world, Bent Chyzyk is highly regarded as a great hockey mind and has a great eye for talent. I think it would be a good idea to hire him at part of the staff to be a team GM or ever we want to call it. He was at Breakaway Academy and I know he is well respected, and my brother-in-law speaks highly of him, too. For the record Jackson Blake was a Breakaway hockey player.

He's been an assistant for 19 years.

To the current and past players (and there are a lot of you): You are the lifeblood and face of UND Hockey. I want to thank you all in so many ways. Thank you for representing North Dakota Hockey at the very highest level on the ice, in the classroom and in the community. You all worked so hard in all of these areas each and every day. As I posted in another thread. Redwing77 and I chat via text message from time to time and he just posted on Goon’s World Yesterday.

It was a fun weekend, and I caught up with people I hadn't seen in a while; regardless of the result, it was worth the trip. I think some changes are going to happen in the near future, and who knows what will happen? This final hurrah was fun. Currently, I sit in a cold, empty arena, watching two teams warm up. I like neither team, but WMU is the lesser of two evils. There can't be over 1000-1500 people here.

The goat @jimdahlto get to meet him finally was there today. It was awesome to finally get to meet him.

This was a lot of fun today. The omelet didn't disappoint. I love that bar and grill. Thanks to @MafiaMan for setting this up.

For interest, I looked up the top NIL deals in college sports; not a single one is a hockey player, if that helps. Another list of NIL deals.

I am going to agree with his statement. In a lot of Big Ten Schools that have college hockey, football and basketball reign supreme, except maybe for Minnesota. The Gophers are God awful in Football and Basketball.
