I personally think the whole outdoor hockey game thing is retarded but that is just my HMO. I watched the game in Buffalo this year but it bugged me that they had to stop the game to clean the snow off the ice.

I was under the impression that all rookie are under two way contracts?

I think next year at this time we will be saying wow, that was an awesome deal for Ducan to come back for his senior season. I am not going to kick him out of the pool and welcome him back. Can you imagine if the coaches team him up with some kind of cominbation of Toews, Trupp Duncan they could be an explosive line.

You forgot the part where there are not a lot of people. I really love that part as well. I also like that it has the best Duck, Pheasant and Sharpie hunting in the upper midwest.

Just for the record Hextall has been compared to Arhibald by Hak so I am excited about him coming to the Sioux.

On beyond the pond former Goofs star Johnny Pohl said that losing Mike Guentzel was a huge loss to the program he also sounded pretty shook up about it.

Dave Finley pulling Wheeler out of the handshake line was probably a bush league move. What from I heard it was after wheeler was running his mouth which is also clasless and bush league but probably not real cool. Makes great theater though. Dave you call me a homer I don't care because it is true. I don't really like any team but my Sioux, Wild and Bruins. It is what it is.

Dave all respect Leg checks are not part of hockey and NOT just part of the game. There are others that have said the hit Chorney took was dirty or at least very quesitonable. It should have been a 5 minute penalty and even the ESPN announcers thought it should have been a penalty. Sure I question hits when I see them. Voros this past season Hit a player from behind and it was dirty. Voros hits Staal from behind. This past season Kozek hit a SCSU player with a leg check that I thought was questionable.

My pecking order would probably be. 1) NCAA Title 2) Frozen Four berth 3) McNaughton Cup 4) Broadmoor Trophy 5) NCAA Tournament berth
