I just got to thinking about this, so the Sioux have lost two first round NCAA games in a row, Denver has lost 3 first round games in a row. Michigan just finally won a game after what losing three straight games in the NCAA tourney. If IIRC think two of those three years UND knocked them out. This time of year is really a crap shoot. One and done hockey.

I am thinking this next season might be the one.

You would think that Toronto is going to want him to prove he can do it again for a whole season and make a comittment to staying out of trouble and on task.

What do you suggest the alum and the university do? Should they fire hak? I don't think we can really get all that excited, this was a young team that over achieved in my opinion. They ran out of gas at the wrong time. If anything it will motivate the guys to not have to play in the Thursday night games next season.

I don't think we can blame the coach on this one, the guys didn't skate yesterday until the last period. The goaltending wasn't good yesterday, defenders let the Yale players skate unmolested in the slot. You can't win a game doing that.

Mike I think you're right this team really was young and it's a year away from making a move. Everything the Sioux accomplished this season was gravy. Losing sucks and I am going to miss Zajac and Vandy they are both good players.

That's sad if that turns out to be true.

Hate is such a strong word, dislike Frank yes, I thought he was a lap dog for the Gophers program and a Buffoon. I like Doug Woog because he knows his hockey and leveled Frank out.

I like the Wooger he is a nice guy and always approachable and likeable. I chatted a few times with him over the years but The Rug this is good getting him off of the air.
