I had a conversation with Tim O'Keefe at the Final Five last season and Tim basically said that there is no way we can continue with the Fighting Sioux nickname... This is coming from a guy that is basically as pro-UND as they come.

We get it, you hate Hakstol, you've posted this twice now.

With the DU win we are back to 11th things are looking up for UND.

It was three margs a hotel bar and they aren't very strong.

If that is a top three team, then UND isn't too far behind because I think UND was the better team all night long.

Teams watch a lot of film and the Gophers defense is young.

How did you get that price? How far away is Shoreview?

I would think a person would want to go to Old Chicago's at least 2 1/2 hours before the game.

One of these days I have to go to that.

If you want to get a room there I would recommend getting reservations.

I had a person tell me today, so what, the woman's team is going to be on the road.

The Holiday Inn is 180.00 a night and they sell out fast. However, you park your car on Thursday and try to remember where you left it on Sunday and you don't have to worry about parking or shuttles and taxies.

Not to sounds like a jerk but UND is a founding member of the NCHC and it's not going to happen.

Actually, they give you the riot act when you sign in to that place, you sign a form when you check in. I have heard that there were people that were kicked out last year for partying. I don't know, I am hard sleeper so it doesn't bother me that much.

I think I actually watched a Sens game and I believe that he is still with the Senators.

We got out hotel room at the Holiday Inn right across the street from the Xcel Energy Center, we got our room and tickets back in December. This will be the third year in a row that I will have stayed at the Holiday INN, their breakfast is good and they are stumbling distance from all of the good bars that are right down the street.

Yes I do believe that the nickname fiasco has become a charlie foxtrot. There is no other way to say it.

But of course, why should Hakstol be in the conversation, we all know Don Lucia deserves it more. The fact remains that UND has faced more adversity than a lot of team and the UND Fighting Sioux head coach has held his team together.

That would be a nice rematch between Maine and UND to go to the Frozen Four.
