Yep, to quote my brother-in-law Andy Brink who played for the hated Gophers, "I can mouth off to the biggest guy on the ice because I know that I don't have to fight." Same with dirty hits or with smack talk, a player can do just about anything and know that they don't have to answer the bell. All you have to do is look at last night's game and when the game got out of hand one of the Gophers crossed checked a Eagle with a vicious high stick, that play should have resulted in a game misconduct.

Lets not forget that Jerry York is a hall of fame coach with 912 wins on his resume, that is pretty impressive in anyone's book. Lets also not forget that Jerry York is 66 years old and has been coaching since 1972-73 and didn't win his first NCAA title until his 12th season and didn't win another title for 17 years.

That is funny but that is pretty much the truth, I don't know why anyone would want to watch that kind of hockey. Boring. Seriously from what I have seen this season, this is like watching FSU play 1-3-1 trap. I am going to watch it but I might end up taking a nap tomorrow during the game.

If it was the Wisconsin Badgers or the Bemidji State Beavers playing for an NCAA title, no problem, but I will not cheer for a team to win a title because they are in the same league. The thought of cheering for the Gophers to win an NCAA title makes me physically ill. I would rather see B.C., Union or FSU win.

I think this is going to be a boring tourney to be honest with you. The first game is going to be a snooze feast.

I think the tourney is Boston College's to win. The field reminds me of the Ford Field Frozen Four where B.C. blew away both Miami and Wisconsin who were very good teams.

I can't cheer for any of the teams. I hope the Gophers get rolled by B.C. and then I don't know, I think Union had the easiest path to the Frozen Four.

None of that matters because Rob Port is running around telling everyone that UND is fine and won't be kicked out of the BSC. I guess we have to believe him and none of the stuff we type means squat because he has the top political blog in North Dakota. Doesn't matter if he has interviewed, or emailed or talked to anyone maybe other than Terry Wanless.
