I'm hopeful that UMN overlooks BU a bit, in hopes of a B10 showdown vs Michigan. And then the Hutson bros crush their dreams.
BU is a solid hockey team. I’ve been impressed with their game. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them beat the Goofs.

You don’t see the guy in all red flying for a d to d pass and give a clean break?
Good point, OSU is full of tree trunks dressed in red. Especially, their goaltender.

Boys, I like where your heads are at.
I always like the pompous attitude when a Gopher fans tells me I should want to cheer for the Gophers. Seriously dude, I can't lower myself to like that team. I am dead serious, gouging my eyes out seems like a better option. After Thursday's game, Bob Motzko made a horrendously stupid comment in the post-game: "This was one of the closest 9-2 games I've ever been involved in," Motzko said with a straight face.
Sure Bob.

QU vs. Ohio State at 3pm CT
Thanks for the heads up, OSU is up 1-0 already. Announcers whining about the officials already.

If we aren't winning the title I really don't feel too strongly about who does/doesn't. This year out of what is left I'd probably least like Quinnipiac(Pecknold is just such an asshole) or Michigan but other than them whatever. Minnesota winning would make my brother happy and maybe give our staff even a little more of a kick in the ass.
My sister Kim and I are the only UND alums in my family, the rest of my siblings love the Golden Rodents. They're like you should join us on the wagon. I said, "I would gouge my eyes out before I could cheer for the Gophers." I sorta like their football and baseball teams. My sister Holly being a DU hockey parent was hard enough to stomach. The only Minnesota team I can handle is the BSU Beavers, and I was a student there and from there. Once UND is done, I could give three s#its who wins the NCAA hockey tourney. The hockey was so bad on Friday, that I watched the World of Outlaws instead. Thank God, the Boston Bruins are doing so well this year. I also picked a good year to get my carpal tunnel surgery.

Weak tweet. Guessing Motzko wouldn’t approve of this. Also, I bet their experience was top notch, as UND/REA/Scheels arena are pros at hosting regionals. The classy thing would be to thank them for a great experience and maybe barb the fans separately.
Or we could just laugh and let it go. I don't see anything wrong with it. I think it's kind of funny. A simple 8>5 would suffice.

I just read that sophomore Max Sasson of WMU signed a pro contract with the Vancouver Canucks.
That would be a big loss for WMU.

Guess they forgot to steer Sanderson and Kleven(?) away from us.
That's a good point. Not to mention that Judd Caulfield played there too.
Played two seasons (2017-19) with USA Hockey National Team Development Program (NTDP):

SCSU may be looking for a new coach pretty soon. Brent Larson is at the top of the list to become the next head coach of the Wisconsin Badgers.

Bucci is entertaining the first time you hear him, for a few minutes. A bit like watching community theater.
Not a huge fan of Colby Cohen either.
His yelling shot is insufferable. You can actually make it a drinking game.

I hear he has to blow into the breathalyzer before stepping onto the broomball rink up in Blaine…
The last time I talked to him was at last year's frozen faceoff. He was a bit on the inebriated side, but he was in good spirits.
I can't fault a guy for doing that. I've been known to drink two, two beers.

@DrunkHockeyGuy, someone needs a UMD update. Maybe @Runninwiththedogs?
I thin we should have our own @MafiaMan check in with his Buddy Drunk Hockey Guy to see how he's doing.

Cornell has always been big; they’ve added fast to it.
Cornell is the biggest team in the NCAA field. Denver is the smallest.

You watch, the huskies luck will run out when I least want it to against the gophers. St. Cloud has been consistently outplayed down the stretch of the season, but have found a way to win.
The Clowns just scored again. 3-0 with about 7 minutes to go.

0 goals in their last game and 0 so far today. Bang-up job.
Denver is getting manhandled.

I'd argue a 9th D or a 4th G would not be fool-hearty.
I don’t think 4 goalie is a bad idea. Johnson isn’t going to be a starter. What if Hedquist isn’t ready. Just throwing it out there. He started the season slow and could one more year of JRs if he wanted to.

I picked Boston University.

Possibly. But the NCHC has to get them in first.
You would have to convince 8 Athletic Directors to let them in.

I believe this is a rookie-max deal.
If he reports to OTT he burns the first year of it if he plays 10 (?) games.Yep, he got the Rookie Max.

This has been an exciting game. I thought UND has played well, but the Huskies have gotten away with a lot of hooking and holding. Season on the line. Win and play tomorrow.

Think for a minute, why did Calder played for three teams in three years? Do think maybe just maybe there was a reason he wasn't asked to come back to UND? Why wasn't Budy asked to come back. Maybe he wasn't a good fit. I see a lot of pointing of fingers at the coaching staff, but maybe some of it is players. Why were certain players asked to come back, Hain and Senden. Maybe they were good teammates.
