His comments also might prove that maybe the coaching staff has a good handle on their players and recruits. JMHO

Heard nothing but great things about that place but I always forget about that place when I get back to town....
It was F'N Fantastic. Loved it. Had the burger with the cream cheese and jalapeno's. Their mac and cheese was good, too.

Ate at the Spud in EGF on Sunday night. My what an awesome restaurant. It was like a trip down memory lane reading some of the menu items and some of the things in the building.

Literal translation of El Gordito to English is "the fatty".
Okay, guilty.
That place has got good grub.

There’s now a new Mexican restaurant. Or it moved frothed food court to the building that was formally occupied by Erbert’s and Gerbert’s — El Gordito https://order.spoton.com/rhbs-el-gordito-market-5355/grand-forks-nd/60dcffa124b4c477e22659d7

Would a certain CHN writer call that tampering?

It's incredible how much of an impact Al had on the people who knew him. The guy was an icon in UND sports, it will be weird not seeing him at UND sports anymore. Rest Easy Al.

I personally would like to see Andrew Strathmann come in, mostly because I don't want UND to take another chance of a recruit flipping his commitment.
If he's okay with going to Juniors another year, what's the harm? Others have posted here that he's said he's cool with another year of Juniors.

Toronto fans whining about the refs but I don't see all that money doing what it was paid to do, score goals.
I was thinking about this last night. The Toronto Maple Leafs are just a more talented version of the Minnesota Wild. They're too perimeter. In the playoffs, you have to go to dirty areas to score goals. The Kraken and the Panthers are getting to the nosebleed alleys and dirty areas. It's fun watching Hak's team play. They're mean and nasty to play against. I wish he was the Bruins coach in the playoffs.

The ones that stuck out to me, didn't realize Matt Wellens didn't quote Bast in the 1st one(wonder why):
Bast said he respects that UMD took him out of the transfer portal to fill a void on the roster this season, not to push out any other current players or recruits. He also respect how protective the staff is of the program’s culture.
“Everyone talks about culture, like literally every program,” Bast said. “There’s some programs that actually walk the walk and other programs that talk the talk. What I’ve heard from Duluth is they walk the walk when it comes to culture. That was very appealing to me.”
There are certain writers that like to post inflammatory stuff in their articles to get clicks or stir debate. Especially, if they don't get as many views as they would like. I am not saying Wellins is doing this. I am not upset with his quote, it's how he feels, good luck to him. Whatever. UND has a passionate fanbase and the fanbase drives clicks.

Agreed. And in Luke’s mind, he expected more ice time but it was taken up by transfers.
Or said transfers were playing better than you? With the players that UND has coming in, would he have played that much this year, either?

I was already in the bar, and I was in the process of leaving when I ran into my buddy Doug that was sitting with them, and he bought me a beer and then we proceeded to have about five more. They were pretty good guys. This was right before they played ASU, who was also staying in the hotel I was at.

Wodon is dancing on the edge on purpose.
The talks about ... whispers of tampering.
Then he mentions MSU and UND have been "aggressive" ... but then says there's no proof.
But the mental ties have been made. He's trying to create guilt by inference.
He danced right to the edge of defamation (libel, slander) but stopped just short. It’s also a click bait story, too. He knows that people will read it because it’s inflammatory. He’s denied on Twitter that he was accusing MSU and UND of tampering.

That's a really bad hire. The NCHC wanted nothing to do with him. That's why he wasn't hired to be an official.
