In the pregame, Tim Hennessey asked Michigan State head coach Tom Anastos about the B1G's new proposal. Of course, Anastos puked out the B1G's talking points. We are pushing 18-year olds out of college hockey, blah, blah... To be honest with you, I would rather they just say, "we're butt hurt because we can't dominate college hockey. Donny Lucia wanted us to back up his stupid proposal because he's still mad about his team getting their asses kicked against Union in the Frozen Four."

I don't' see much of a benefit of playing in the B1G aka the big 6 hockey conference.

While we're on this point, I think UND's upside is higher than SCSU's. UND fans, I think we have a lot to be excited about.

I think the 11 freshmen is the reason/root for some of UND's problems.

Secondary scoring is a big concern. I am more concerned about the PK and PP.

B1G Football. Michigan State plays PSU on Saturday.

I would say that opinions differ, I think UND except for a short period of time in the third period, was the better team on Friday. The homer tv announcers were ranting and raving about UND's top line all night. UND lost some momentum when they got into penalty trouble. But for the most part, I think UND had the edge in Friday's game. Saturday was a different story. They got behind early after a few fluky goals. I think UND's body language said they were happy to get the split. I was disappointed to see the black jersey's as well. That being said, I don't think UND fans should be down. UND's young team hasn't scratched the surface yet. They're playing with 11 freshmen in the lineup. There's going to be growing pains. I don't know if any thought UND would be 10-2-2 after 14 games.

Are you comparing those coaches to Bo Pellini's? I don't know if I would make that comparison. The few times I have seen Murray in post game pressers, he's been great. He did say that he thought the league needed better officials after the first Frozen Faceoff. Motzko isn't bad either. I think his team embellishes a lot.
