It will be funny to see the fans turn on Q too when they don't win. The goaltending and defense core is a mess. Yes they have great forwards.

The Flyers are giving up the second most goals against per game -- 3.74 . There's not a lot of goalies out there that could do well with the Flyers right now. The team in front of them isn't very good. The forwards are pretty good, but that's as far as I would go. I blame the GM for the mess the Flyers are in. The Flyers PK is ranked 29th over all 73.5 %. It's not a pretty picture. Hakstol won't stay unemployed long.

I made the mistake of checking that page out today. They're going to be highly disappointed when Hak is fired and their team doesn't improve. Their goalie situation is the horrendous.

From reading the story line, they're upping their financial commitment. It will be interesting to see how this turns out.

I find it funny that DU thinks they're far superior to the other schools in the Summit. It's elitism. They didn't like playing in the same conference as some of the former WCHA schools, either. Yes, they're a private school, but their basketball teams isn't exactly ripping it up. Also, I don't consider UNO an elite school and they would be on the same footing as NDSU, USD, SDSU and UND. I am not sure why UNO would get their underwear in a bunch, if Augie joined the Summit, since they were in the same conference as Augie in the past.

DU doesn't have a lot of choices, they were kicked out of a league before. Also, I am not sure why UNO thinks they've all of a sudden gained some sort of elite status?

As a South Dakotan are you worried about the Sanford and their connection to Auggie? I am just asking after reading the rantings and ravings of a DU fan.

I think to a certain degree they might have a minor influence but not a much as you think. I’ve asked a few of the athletes if they read the message boards and the common response has been a chuckle.

I was told they're having a hell of a time getting butts in the seats in Bemidji, too. The game against UND helped their overall sales numbers.

I've enjoyed watching the UND basketball team play the last two seasons. I am just glad they finally beat someone while I was in attendance. It's one of the few sports you can afford to take the family to. There's something lacking with the atmosphere at the Betty.

The last two times I've gone to the game, I've been offered free tickets. People in the lobby are offering up free tickets. I'll take it. Free Division I basketball. Attendance wasn't good today. I thought it was a good game, nice to see the Hawks win for a change. Last season, I attended most of the games after Thanksgiving and I was bad luck. I had a discussion this weekend with somebody on the coaching situation. Eventually, this is going to have to be addressed. How long does Jones get? Basketball is a big sport at our school but it appears be dying a slow painful death.

I honestly don't think anyone is going to touch the Bison. SDSU is probably the only team with half a chance. They ground Colgate into the ground on Saturday. It was impressive.
