IRC, there's been other years where no one was selected to the WJC and UND still did okay. Next year, there could be 4-6 players on the WJC and UND will struggle to put a lineup together. To me, the WJC is a nice honor, but I am interested on what happens in March and April.

Also, can't we make the argument that Scheel could've been a member of the WJC team?

Nationally, UND is ranked (College Hockey Stats Net) 39 offensively 2.59 GPG 28 defensively 2.47 GAPG 36 power play 12/73 16.4% 44 penalty kill 78.7% UND has a 9-7-1 record, clean this stuff up and they should be good.

He's going to be paid for the rest of this season and next season. That's about 3 million reasons to take some time off.

Their fans are unbearable. They know little about hockey. They seem to lack manners, too. I think Philly overachieved based on the goalies they’ve used. He won’t be unemployed long. He still has a 1 1/2 year on his contract.

It will be funny to see the fans turn on Q too when they don't win. The goaltending and defense core is a mess. Yes they have great forwards.

The Flyers are giving up the second most goals against per game -- 3.74 . There's not a lot of goalies out there that could do well with the Flyers right now. The team in front of them isn't very good. The forwards are pretty good, but that's as far as I would go. I blame the GM for the mess the Flyers are in. The Flyers PK is ranked 29th over all 73.5 %. It's not a pretty picture. Hakstol won't stay unemployed long.

I made the mistake of checking that page out today. They're going to be highly disappointed when Hak is fired and their team doesn't improve. Their goalie situation is the horrendous.

From reading the story line, they're upping their financial commitment. It will be interesting to see how this turns out.

I find it funny that DU thinks they're far superior to the other schools in the Summit. It's elitism. They didn't like playing in the same conference as some of the former WCHA schools, either. Yes, they're a private school, but their basketball teams isn't exactly ripping it up. Also, I don't consider UNO an elite school and they would be on the same footing as NDSU, USD, SDSU and UND. I am not sure why UNO would get their underwear in a bunch, if Augie joined the Summit, since they were in the same conference as Augie in the past.

DU doesn't have a lot of choices, they were kicked out of a league before. Also, I am not sure why UNO thinks they've all of a sudden gained some sort of elite status?

As a South Dakotan are you worried about the Sanford and their connection to Auggie? I am just asking after reading the rantings and ravings of a DU fan.
