Siouxfan@Boston that is why I am excited about next season, the prospects for the future are very exciting. I just hope we don't put too much pressure on them to win. I mean add Genoway and Parise and a huge freshman class one year older with a defense that is starting to mature Yikes. I mean really UND can't suck forever and it is not like we have crappy players. We really could have had a winning record this season if a few breaks would have gone our way, maybe some will soon, we must have a few lucky horse shoes left we haven't used many yet. I am just hoping we finally beat a few of these patsies we have left on the schedule and split with C.C. UofM and DU and we should be ok, maybe even steal a game against one UofM or DU. I think if we pulled our head out of our a$$ we could sweep the Gophers, I don't think that is unrealistic. Honestly I am not sure why Pat Sweeny is still around he has the pizazz of an enema, actually I have heard he prefers the Gophers anyways. Brehdahl is no better I really don't care if he is an ex-Sioux what did he play like 5 game his whole career, he is brutal, why in the #### do we have Cullens dad on for he plays for C.C. maybe we need to start a letter writting campaign and let the people know we are not happy with the coverage, I mean I am happy with the Sioux having Television coverage but lts get some quality with it too.

Dagies, I have like the effort Ryan Hale has put out this season, he has great hands and I think will only get better, Blaiser said basically that he was still young and had many good years ahead of him, his only concern was that if he had 20-30 goals one season the nhl could pluck him from UND...

Actually I give you guys a new spin on Josh's performance last weekend. I think he played good, I am not sure why everyone is down on him. Josh made two big saves on the one UAA goal and the defense had still not cleared the puck, on that instance thats not on the goalie the first two shots were really ringer types so I think still think we need to cut him some slack too... Heres what makes me mad Cygans goal is off side so really we shouldn't have lost. I really think UND needs to burry weak teams like UAA, MSU_ Mankato and Duluth. We have no more shots at these two cup cakes so now we need to beat MTU and Duluth, and we get MTU four games if we can sweep those games and split with the Gophers and C.C. or take three points against C.C. or Minnesota we could be ok... Denver will be gut check time because I am really not that impress with them..

I actually think that Siembida will and should go both games. Although I think Brandt is better than Andy this year I personally have no confidence in him. I think UND has given him enough chances and he can sit on the Bench like Toby did... Josh has shown that he is the man, I think he played good last saturday making two big saves in a row but you cant expect to make three big saves in a row every game. Andy makes one save and then is scored on... Personally I think Blais is trying to fire Josh up and if he plays good Friday (today) expect him to get the nod again tommorrow. Actually why not let him take the Big games and let Jake maybe play the weak sisters. Honestly I can't figure out why Blaiser kept coming back to andy he has shown he can't play consistently and I think he cost us a few wins this season that we really needed...

Siouxfan@Boston, Wasn't BU football team pretty good too? I can remember when they did that I am surprised a Divison one school would cut football, espeically when they are supposed to be the big revenue sport. Has there been any talk about bringing football back?

Jk, I have a lot of family and friends that are Gopher fans and you know what makes them mad is when they are spouting off about how great the gophers are and how they are so much more great than the mighty Sioux. I can ussually get them mad by starting with the title drought of 1979. Talk about the 5 titles since UofM last won one. The numerous WCHA titles, we now got one more than them. Talk about the ching of 1989 against Harvard as the title hopes of the gophers slid off the post. You know what Gopher fans are trying to claim now is 1980, because they had a good number of hockey players on that squad some of them count it as a Minnesota Championship. I am surprised they didn't try to hang another banner in Marriucci. Yesh... Remember Folks its fun to have a rivalry with the Gophers I like their fans a lot better than the rubes that grace the SCCC campus. But I will go on the record right now and say UofM will never win a title with Hauser sieve in net...

Wantaugh, What did Tim say that dug himself a hole? I think there are many people that agree with his point of view. The facts are that womens NCAA hockey around the country at the gate has been a bust and a money drain, at BSU for example are drawing about 135 people a game, is UND going to be that much more successful than BSU. SCSU is trying to find a way to kill their womens program because it is a money drain. Sueing to get the same sized wirl pool and lockerroom is a jessie jackson type shake down. Is Bush League, Unexceptable. That is so like the mentality of the UND-Fraud.Com crowd. Sue, Sue, Sue, it doesn't matter if there any merits to the case or not...

Blais said that three goalies would go to C.C. and didn't say who would be starting. Also, dean did not get into who was going as fars as defensemen and forwards. Is the game on TV this weekend I have seen that WDAY has it on in Fargo according to USCHO, but what about WDAZ I am sure if it is on in Fargo it will probably be on in Fargo...

I think we will see Siembedia in net both games, he has proven he is the best on the team, I think Blais will go with that. Coaches show is on tonight maybe Blais will drop a clue who is in net...

Hey Scott_M Dixon has not played all year long, he might have been a causualty of the new GM of Boston, he actually played pretty well last season after he came back from an injury. Only think I can think of is that he is hurt again or retiring...

Dagies, One thing about Hoff is that he doesn't even check the facts he just writes stuff that fits his agenda, he has an axe to grind against Englestad, a lot of the stuff he writes is just inflated b.s.. For those that don't know who Hoff is he is a Kook, he ran for city council and soon after he took office got voted out of office for being a loose cannon. He would start spouting off in city council meetings about wages and was disruptive to the city council meetings. The guy is a absolute wack job/nut case... After he was recalled he moved to Gilby, and has been stiring up trouble there too. Johnny will go into a cafe in one of the small towns and start arguing politics with the locals folks, I can imagine that doesn't go over well with the older Scandinavians.

Lienweber, I found out a few things I didn' know, Chris came to the team when he was 17, realistically speaking he is still pretty young. I think he played well this past weekend, he didn't make defensive mistakes and he got the puck out of the zone... I am sure he will make a contribution the rest of this year and into the next.

I think we have covered the issue a fully almost to adnauseum (I am sure I spelled that one wrong) I guess some aren't going to be happy till every indian name is changed. I moved back to Minnesota from boston in 1990. I missed the state, went to college in 1993 in North Dakota, got married and have been in the Forks every since. Kind of like hotel california you can check out but never leave. Boston Sports rule though, BoSox and fenway are fun venues. This season the Bruins have really done a good job this year, they have built a fast young team around a very good defense... I honestly think they are going to win the stanely cup. They have been building for this year for some time.

FightingSiouxfan in Beantown, In 1988 I was stationed at Fort Devens Mass, when I got out in in December of 1988 (got tired of the Army, and MP's worked too much) I decided to live in Ayer for a while. Almost married a girl from Ayer Mass that I met while checking ID's at the front gate to Fort Devens. I watch all of the Bruins on Television and some of the Sox games. Say a bunch of games in Fenway what a blast. Saw eastern conference Game 7 (Stanely Cup playoffs) Bruins and Dirt Devils in the old Garden, man talk about enviornment, I thought the roof was going to come down. Till this day that is still one of my greatest sports memories. I have always since my time followed the B's. Most people out here don't follow them. Maybe more so since Goren plays in Providence...
