Olypic rinks suck period. There is no flow to game in one of these god awful rinks. The checking part of the games suffers because there is more room. The old Aud and the Boston Garden were perfect examples of what can happen in a smaller rink. There was all kinds of open ice hits as well as good hits on the boards. The bigger rinks take this aspect out of the game. NHL rinks rule. On a second point: Not to say that your argument is flawed because its not, but what makes you think that by the end of the season the Refs will still be on board with the clutching and grabbing and calling them as penatlies. I for one doubt the refs will stay with the program.

Hum, I think that is going to be a hard decision. I would take the duck hunting. By the way its been a pretty good ducktober... Lots of water all over the place. Lots of Gadwell and Teal around also. Finally shot a few Mallards yesterday. I believe the big ducks aren't down from Canada yet.

Notice the size of the defense men, their monsters... I think that was done on fault. Fast up front, big defense in the back. Having Fast speedy forwards is fine. But I also think UND needs a few bigger forwards too. Being too small up front can be a liability. UND needs to have a nice mix between speedy guys and bigger guys. There are going to be teams that can't skate with UND, so they are going to try and slow down UND and mucking it up, hooking, slashing, holding. This is not always going to get the proper attention it deserves from the refs ala Schmidt (2)...

I am sure a lot of us would like to have him still on the team, however, I think Travis may get us to forget about Bucks... The kid could have one awesome season. I can see it already: Zajac has an awesome season this year and fans to the south of us start pointing to our schedule with the likes of BSU and Canisus on it. Oh well I could care less.

This kid is the real deal, and he compliments Stafford real well. I think that line could do some damage.

I think its lip service. It would be nice to see them call the games that way but, UND has been the victim of crappy reffing for years. I don't see it changing over night because of a new mission statement from the NCAA.

As far as NDSuck, been there done that. They left the NCC so its time for them to move on and play their great competition. I bet its the only way they can beat UND if they have more 20 plus more scholarships.
