  7. Good for the governator. Its a big decision. I suppose the 9th Circus (a Kangaroo Court in California) will have something to say about this.
  8. That was something I was not aware of I remembe them coming here and playing a night game a few years back. They seemed to have a decent team. Too bad for New Haven.

    NDSU or GVSU

As far as NDSuck, been there done that. They left the NCC so its time for them to move on and play their great competition. I bet its the only way they can beat UND if they have more 20 plus more scholarships.

The reality is that UND is a big business, so is REA. In other words it cost money to run a college and their various department. You can't expect the citizery (tax payers like me and other) to just pick up the bill in the form of higher taxes, I am paying too much the way it is right now. Thats whey they charge fees and tuition.

I swear some of you guys are over whinning about UND on http://www.UND-fraud.com. talking about how evil and repressive UND is and how the Administration does care about anything but money and it doesn't give people due process. I mean really UND isn't that bad and it doesn't owe you anything. Welcome to the real world. Also you guys are not the losers Vivian Nelson or Glenda Miskin are.
  20. Its not looking good. (AP) Bob Goodenow, president of the NHL Players Association, listens to a question at a news conference... Stop the Puck! NHL Locks Out Players Sep 15, 7:05 PM (ET) Email this Story By RONALD BLUM NEW YORK (AP) - The National Hockey League is locking out its players starting Thursday, threatening to keep the sport off the ice for the entire 2004-05 season and perhaps beyond in an effort by management to gain massive change in the sport's economic structure. After the long-expected decision was approved unanimously Wednesday by NHL owners, commissioner Gary Bettman repeatedly belittled the union's bargaining position, talked about the possibility the confrontation could extend into the 2005-06 season and said the conflict has jeopardized the NHL's participation in the 2006 Winter Olympics. "If there's enough time to play some games, we'll do it," he said of this season, "and if there's not, we won't." Bettman called it a "bleak day," claimed teams had combined to lose more than $1.8 billion over 10 years and cited bankruptcy filings by teams in Buffalo, Los Angeles, Ottawa and Pittsburgh. He said management will not agree to a labor deal that doesn't include a defined relationship between revenue and salaries. "Until he gets off the salary-cap issue, there's not a chance for us to get an agreement," union head Bob Goodenow said in Toronto, adding that players "are not prepared to entertain a salary cap in any way, shape, measure or form." Far apart on both philosophy and finances, the side haven't bargained since last Thursday and say they are entrenched for the long run, echoing words of baseball players and owners at the start of their disastrous 7
  21. Fire Helment, Actually you can go to a lot of the local bars and take a fan bus to the game, that way you don't have to worry about parking or driving after consuming adult beverages. They drop you off at the game and pick you up after the game. I know Whitey's, Dagwoods, The bar in the South Forks mall (I can't remember its name) just to name a few that you would probably be able to meet few rabid Sioux fans.
  22. I was thinking maybe even Honkers or Slough Rats.
  23. I honestly don't know its the ones that we paid for with our tickets, I think they are the ones that are $55.00, wether I can go in a bar or not is irrelevant to me. I sit in the upper deck and I watch the game, and I have no problem consuming beer in my seat. Personally I think its actually a waste to have the bars in the arena because they distract from the games... Just my humble opinion. I think its funny that we have people that complain about everything, who cares if you can't go in the bar go down to the beer vender and get some beer, its all about the hockey on the ice... I actually wouldn't be surprised if the policy changes by the end of the season anyways.
  24. Honestly I could care less. I like the fact that my seat is a good seat and that I will be drinking beer and watching hockey. I have no problem with REA wanting to make money. This isn't the old Ralph this is a nice hockey arena.
