I would be willing to bet that MTU will return to its losing ways. They have one line, they caught Minnesota in a slump, the Gophers brought Tech's A game out. I don't know Briggs is going to have some conpetition. Briggs is 1-4 with a .863 save percentage in his last 5 games and JJ's save percentage and GAA is much better than that. Like I said earlier, I would love the regionals to be this weekend with UND getting the Gophers.

UMD has games against @UofM, @DU and Wisconsin. A touch order. However, they do have two throw away series against BSU and MTU... I see UND finishing in 4th or 5th.

Millsy, its ok if I look past you because I am not playing this weekend. When I was over in Bemidji tail gating before the Niagra game at Doug's brothers a bunch of the guys said that they were coming over for the series. Should be a lot of fun. I know Doug and his family are coming and I think a bunch of us are supposed to get together, it should be a lot of fun. I think heard Moose is coming over for Saturdays game. I have a case of beer bet on the game with Scott and as well as two cases with Luckie. I hope to have three cases after the Sioux sweep.

Good point Schmidty. Back to Briggs, I would be worried if I were their coach right now. I said it earlier in the Season that Briggs is still Briggs, meaning he aint that good, and its becoming evident. I was called out and told I didn't know what I am talking about. I would still rather have Jordon Parise or Lammy in stead of the gopher sieve. Looks like UofM is starting to crumble. I am not scared of UND having to play UofM in their building during the regionals.

I guess I will go back and clean my crystal ball. I would never had guessed that MTU would win. Now I would like to see a sweep.

I agree with this guys, however, the greed of the players is going to keep the game from going on this season. The owners are also to blame since they paid these guys these contracts. There will be no season until a ground swell of players say we will play with a cap.

I like Canadian traditional NHL hockey. I think there are too many Russians and Europeans in the NHL. I read some where that Euros might be less apt to come to the NHL if their cost certainy. I am fine with that. I guess I like Don Cherry Rock and Sock em hockey.

PCM your not the know all of UND hockey, but you seem to spend a lot of time lecturing people if your were the master guru. Also your opinion isn't the only one that matters, and if you actually got past your arrogance you would find out your missing the point. What I am saying and your not getting it is that Stafford will never be the guy to take his team on his back, like Panzer, Goren, Blake. It has nothing to do with age, or the type of players they were Goren is not the same type of player that Panser is. So come down off your high horse. I suppose you still think Brandt is an awesome goalie too. What is comes down to is someone has to become a leader and stop making excuses.

I think we got bigger because of the all the clutching and grabbing that was going on. I think this why we have these skating line backers on the defense. Your right we need some speed too. Sounds like some of the guys coming next season can fly.
