He "moved" on to DI Powerhouse TEMPLE as an assistant coach and has been there ever since, never to return to the Bison (although he had a very small window of opportunity - remember "bringrockyhome.com"?) and probably never to be a head coach again (rejected by Missouri Southern, most recently)...You guys had your run in the '80's and IT'S OVER!!! Face that! What have you done for FB lately? Best o'luck in DI-AA - BTW - WHO WON the DI-AA title this year??

WE NEED THE BUSINESS) After the way the playoffs turned out this year, why the hell would we sign to play you...it would only cost us and give you some "moral support" for stacking the deck with 2x the scholarships...we'd still kick your butt - especially since Tony "BUTTER BALL" Stauss will be back...Maybe you should pay us and c'mon back up here since you're so DESPERATE for games next year. Heck - you'll be traveling all year anyway....

It's called homefield!!! and NOSEBLEED??? The AL seats 13,000....does your nose bleed at 60ft above sea level? C'mon -- tell me if the situation were reversed..you guys would have said..."We hope y'all do as well as you can!!!" to the fans. YOU GUYS HAD SEATS ON THE 40 YD LINE for crying out loud! We should have put you out in the parking lot as far as I'm concerned...THAT BEING SAID...frankly - I was suprised UND did as well as they did but on another level, not really. The UND coaches (Yes, even our own "Bubba" - defensive coordinator Kyle "Bubba" Schweigert) are masters at breaking down another team and devising plans to combat them. The other big factor was the home field, obviously! 10,000 screaming fans in a small enclosed dome are like 20,000 outside and it definately caused UNA problems. Bottom Line - UND's offense did what it had to do, gambled on occasion, and won. UNA was taken out of their game, and couldn't recover in time. NOW - (I know this is getting long) a couple personal notes...I met and talked to both Will and Coach Hud at the practice on Friday and can't say enough about their sportsmanship. Will is a very fine young man and a great athlete - you should be very proud of him. Coach Hud was extremely polite and forthright about the NCAA problems. Kudo's to him as well. Even at the postgame press conference - when losing teams tend to talk a little smack about the conditions or the opponent - the maintained the highest level of dignity in admitting they were outplayed saturday. You should be very proud of your team and the players and coaches...UNA has gone up many notches in my book because of their conduct today - best of luck in the future!

Well...n'uff said in the quote but let me expound...FargoBarn vs. Alerus - Yeah - you guys have the advantage in seats but in atmosphere??? NO WAY!! You can get 10,000 in a 19,000 seat stadium for any given game but 7000 in the AL is 10X the noise you can produce with a full house!!! The BSA vs. The Full Ralph or the new REA Sports Center - WE can accomodate a small house crowd in the new arena (4000 or less) or they can move into the main arena and we can still kick your ass for atmosphere! The BSA has REALLY great mercury vapor lights that make the place look like a morgue for virutally any event ... guess we're still working on topping that! I would have thought you schmucks would have figured out by now UND is building up their FACILITIES while you chumps are scratching up a conference to play in and putting your facilities on the backburner. You'll find (or make) a conference in IAA and then try to raise MORE money to upgrade your facilities while we knock on the door with our premo ones in a few years. You won't have much choice but to let us in for competition sake and we'll be MILES ahead of you building-wise!! OHHH I forgot to mention the BENSON BUNKER FIELDHOUSE!!! VERY IMPRESSIVE!!!!!! oops....forgot the REA Sportscenter AGAIN!!! ps - wresting is for HOMOS

Hi Chris! Thanks for the sincerity! We do appreciate it and you are welcome here! LORD KNOWS these boards seem meant for flaming and I can hardly plead innocent (YEAH!!) but I know Alabama and ND aren't that very much differnent. I was there in 2001 and found the folks around AL very friendly and accomodating. Had a very good time there really and would go back (although NOT to the local Waffle House at 12:30 am in Huntsville but that's ANOTHER story..) ANYWAY - we look forward to good game this weekend - may the best team win! On paper that is OBVIOUSLY you guys but the Sioux have found A way all season and we're hoping that's the case for this game - and after all, that's why they actually play the games. Regards to our Southern Friends! Hope you can make it ND (don't mind the weather - you'll find the people are warm) PLUS the AL is a GREAT venue for DII football! C'mon up and you'll see!! SMN

Yeah - I've been to the BANANA BELT in 2001 (ie Florence and surrounding environs) - how about if you guys go out and do something about the surrounding area? We have a new thing...it's called PAINT...you put in on your house and it makes it look better. I'm not even going to comment about the local cuisine - we have garbage cans instead of that "stuff" you call food at the WAFFLE HOUSE. BTW - We've done just fine playing in the "snow and ice" - SEE 7 DI Championships against schools you jokers only dream of playing - and we'll see how many "locals' show up when we play Kingsville for the National Championship in your hometown - you don't have a great record of showing up for much of anything except your probation hearing!

oh...we'll be moving up too...in good time my friend...once all our facility issues are complete - with the completion of the Ralph's BB facility...we'll be just fine. SO - how's the renovation of the BSA coming? OOOPS - guess that's 5 million more you jokers will be looking for....glad you got the retrofits of the Fargobard done before you made the move (lame as they are)...you might be ahead of us in MOVING FORWARD but you're miles (and millions) behind in facilities... Okay...we've all been complaining about the average playoff crowds at the AL!!! In truth, they've been GREAT cheering crowds - just a little short in numbers - NOW we have the chance to TOTALLY PACK the AL with UNA coming to town. THIS GAME WILL BE ON TV - either 'DAZ or KVLY but it WILL be on TV - my advice SCREW THAT!!! We need to show our appreciation to the Sioux for all the fight they've shown this year by throwing the remote on the couch, calling a bud or two (or MORE) and showing up to the game this weekend. We made a BIG difference in the UC Davis game a couple years ago - let's show those sh*theads down south what it means to HOST a playoff game and SHOW UP IN FULL FORCE (I'm talking FULL HOUSE) for this game! Like I said, this is OUR chance to repay the Sioux for all the great memories (and heart palpitations!) they've given US this season... GO SIOUX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UNA is coming to our house! I'm not saying we'll win but we'll give them a good show and hopefully a little payback for screwing us in the mid-90's. You guys bitch all the time about (the LAST time you went anywhere in the "pitiful" DII playoffs...whenever that was...) having to play on "kitty litter" at Delta State - hey - both teams had to play on that and THEY won. (Kind of a familiar tune for you guys the last several years...WAH WAH...I hear..."if we..."...or "they got a break..." My thought is... If "ifs" and "buts" were candy and nuts you guys would still bitch!! We went to UNA for the playoffs and they "FORGOT" they actually had 50+ total scholarships when we played them. NOW THAT'S A REASON TO BITCH!!! Now that they're coming here...call everyone you know and get a ticket!! This game will be on TV but who CARES!! Let's pack the place and repay the Sioux for all the great memories you've given us this season!! HEY - Even you Bison jerks are welcome...we know you don't have anything going on anyway!!!!!

As much as I despise Political Correctness - This is ONE instance where it is justified! It's great UNA is undefeated - they earned their two home playoff games but even if you're unbeaten you should prove yourself on the road if the National Championship game is played on your homefield. PLUS - this will (hopefully) be a little revenge for '93 when we had to travel down there, play on a crappy field, get sh*tkicked, then later find out OOPS we "miscalculated" and were playing with 50+ total scholarships! NOW is the time to get a hold of everyone you know and get their butts to the ticketoffice asap! I can guarentee this game will be on TV but we need to pack the place like we did in 2001 against UC-Davis. The Lions will be blown away AND intimidated by the atmosphere we can produce but only if everyone chips in to make it happen!! This is our chance to repay the Sioux for the great efforts they've had this year in making all those last-minute wins happen to get us in this position!!! PS - To our "friends" down south.... State of the Art ALERUS CENTER - $80 Million+... The Cavernous - totally void of atmosphere FARGOBARN - $45 Million+... 6 Playoff games in 3 years VS. ZERO in Ten years (or at least 15 years with your tail-tucking move)...PRICELESS!!!

I have to admit I thought the NSIC was a chump conference compared to the NCC and thought UND would throttle them. By the way things were at half - it would have been easy for the Warriors to bail at halftime and called it a good season but they came out and gave the Sioux a great run for their money - more than a great run really - they just ran into what every other team (except Mesa) has encountered this season. The NSIC did some earn some respect with this performance! With NDStinkU and SDSU trying to find a league they can win in - We welcome UMD and we'd be glad to welcome Winona if they'd make a committment to provide more scholarships - you guys have already proven you can play a pretty good game with limited #'s - turn it into something you will really enjoy and get the ball rolling to lift up all your programs. Winona's a great football town...time to take it big time guys!

For all this crap about "UND is scared to play us!"..."Why doesn't UND want to play us anymore :-("..."WHAT about the RIVALRY??? (Even if we have to stack the deck to have a chance to win)"...let me ask this...why would NDSU...(Or as some Fargo Radio personalities are referring to it now THE North Dakota State University? - "get a life!")...even want to bother with a pissy little DII Institution like UND?? It certainly wouldn't help YOU for the playoffs (OOPS FORGOT - YOU WON"T EVEN BE CONSIDERED FOR THE I-AA PLAYOFFS UNTIL 2007!!) You've got Ohio State and Nebraska to schedule, after all, and Minnesota!!!! (You might have a shot at them...ask us for a reference!! We've been playing them for 50 years!) After all the BIG schools you're talking about LAUGH at you - have fun drumming up interest for Boise Idaho coming to the FargoBarn - You'll WISH UND was coming to town. The real deal is YOU need us more than we need you in the next few years. Heck - after you double us up is scholarships you might even win!!! But for now, lets talk about how big a check you're going to write us to come to Farg-hole next year??? GOOD LUCK!!!!
