I hope Ryan uses this to re-examine his priorities - maybe realize a scholarship to pay for a college education will take him a lot further in his life than his legs ever will and he'll buckle down and come back strong. He's extremely athletically talented but can't see the big picture now for whatever reason. I hope he will and best of luck Ryan! I've never been prouder of a GF kid playing for his hometown team and burning the turf like you do. I have an evil sense of humor and find a lot of things funny that other people don't but watching the nfl versions on YouTube (the und/ndsu version was already pulled) I didn't find it funny at all - just very uncomfortable! The guy that posted it was a pathetic hack doing a poor, overdone rip-off of a tasteless bit and didn't have the balls to stick with it and defend his stolen parody - but why would he? OH YEAH! Hey Bet... Congrats to the Badgers on a good tournament. This was my 1st trip to Madison and the Kohl Center and I have to say I was impressed. Not so much by the arena (don't get me wrong, it is nice but remember we have the Ralph so we're spoiled) I will say it is a thunderdome! LOUD even if the attendance wasn't a full house and ALL the fans are into it. We could take some lessons from that! (but the parking SUCKS!) Thanks for the hospitality overall though...it was a blast!

The one thing we've all learned from this whole nickname debate is that "intent" loses HANDS DOWN to appearance - at least in the eyes of the PC-crowd and the people who will likely make the ultimate decision about the nickname. Despite the fact they didn't intend to make fun of anyone, they did and their timing could not have been worse considering everything thats going on right now.
