I agree with you 100%, I was mocking those people who are always coming up with excuses and alibis for our current coaches/administrators and why we just can't do anything about it. And this applies to several other programs on campus as well. The Rutgers model is not acceptable for UND. It's time to clean house.

And there were 750,000 reasons why Bubba wasn't going anywhere. Letting our signature athletic program decay into nothing because we aren't willing to buy out the final year of his contract is simply unacceptable. Enough of the Grade A certified bull$h!t around here. I'm tired of all the excuses and alibis offered as to why we can't do anything about the current sorry state of our athletic programs. I have had it.

I agree with you. Unfortunately, there are certain individuals here who will insist that President Armacost has absolutely nothing to do with what happens in the athletic department. These same individuals will also insist that Chaves is a great A.D. who serves on a bunch of committees and brought the prestigious, all important Alston Awards to UND. I, on the other hand, think that if Chaves isn't willing to make the necessary changes within the athletic department, it's time to replace him with someone who will. andrew.armacost@und.edu

The way I see it, any coach not named Eric Schmidt needs to go (I am talking about the high-profile sports, not track and field, soccer or tennis).
