Moorhead has had more than one head coach take them to the state tournament, so that comparison is not exactly apples to apples. Anyway, I don't want the thread to drift off topic, so this is my only reply to this question.

Moorhead has the worst luck at state.

Which is what has been happening here all season. It is what happens when a blue blood program has a down year.
