  1. Cripes, it better be the greatest database in the history of databases if it costs that much.
  2. They are a drag on the league. If they want out (and I believe some people at Miami want that), I say we make it as painless as possible. Schools like Arizona State and St. Thomas have way more to offer than Miami has ever had or ever will have.
  3. But someone on this forum awhile back tried to convince me that Miami has all the resources to be competitive in the NCHC because the Redhawks made it to the NCAA title game in 2009. I am glad someone else realizes that losing Miami is addition by subtraction for the NCHC.
  4. I agree 100% But increased funding will be needed, as FCS (and D-I in general) is much more expensive than D-II was. We must broaden our donor base beyond one wealthy heiress in Las Vegas. This will require a firm commitment from the top (President Armacost), along with the Alumni Association. The current D-II funding model is simply not cutting it.
  5. Sometimes, these walk-ons blossom into key starters.
  6. The potential is there for all that to happen. But we won't know until they start playing games.
  7. UND athletics as a whole is stuck in the mud. And the longer it goes like that, the harder it will be to change it.
  8. I hear a lot of complaints from people about the 6:07pm Saturday start times for hockey. I guess I can live with either 6:07 or 7:07.
  9. A lot of people have football and hockey season tickets. I am one of them.
  10. Same here. When I was going to UND, those double-header days were great. Now, not so much.
  11. Don't expect a coherent response. He'll just repeat the same message using different words, then tell you to fire off an E-mail to someone at UND. I like the players we have landed the past couple of weeks. But there remain serious issues surrounding this program that must be addressed sooner rather than later.
  12. It is nice to hear good news on our basketball programs.
  13. He was being sarcastic about Berry's ability to recruit top talent.
  14. Well, with that attitude, you are right. FB won't ever amount to anything. Which is why some people are very passionate about changing the trajectory of that program. Just like we don't want hockey to fade into the darkness of irrelevancy.
  15. This pushes back against the whole "B1G Taking Over The World" narrative pushed by some on here. Great pick up!
  16. How about this version?
  17. Struggling early is fine if it leads to growth and improvement as the season progresses.
  18. I must agree with you. I feel a lot better about this team than I did a couple of weeks ago.
  19. Doesn't the portal make that rule null and void?
  20. I agree with you and share your concerns about the program. But you can find good players in the portal. Some of whom may have slipped through the cracks when they were being recruited the first time.
