I am with you on St. Thomas. Summit hockey.....not so much. Miami and WMU to the CCHA, St. Thomas and Arizona State to the NCHC would position the NCHC well for the future.

The Vikings are ignoring the QB position at their own peril. If Kirk goes down in game one and is out for the year, I don't know if they win one game with Mannion as the starter.

I agree with you. But it is worth pointing out that the schools you listed all currently have extensive natty droughts. So we aren't the only school struggling to finish off seasons.

While I won't give up on a team before the season starts, his points aren't entirely without merit. This upcoming season is critical for the coaching staff and the program.

Why? Did they sign a lifetime contract? Teams change conferences all the time. This would be no exception.

St. Thomas is a sleeping giant that will wake up in the next 5 years. The NCHC needs to think about the future, not just the present. With the threat of the B1G and the ever-changing environment of collegiate athletics, the NCHC needs to strengthen itself as much as it can. I do think we should cap the number of teams at 10. The old WCHA was too big and watered-down at 12. The NCHC has to avoid over expansion.
