Yeah, those of us who don't think a Division I athletic department should be run like a high school athletic department. If you are fine with everything as it is, that is your prerogative. But don't be surprised that there are people that think the status quo is not the best we can hope for.

Then let's just drop FB. Or we can just drop back down to Division II, where we can win with a shoestring budget. Because I am sick of watching a lukewarm, milktoast product.

Let's remember we spent a lot of time and energy killing that 5 x 3 and 5 minute major. I think that sucked some energy out of us.

This team has a toughness and tenacity that is fun to watch.

A&M probably built relationships with benefactors that have paid off and will continue to pay off for them. Although I wouldn't want boosters to have that much power.

That's the point, we don't reach out to donors and/or potential donors. It's been documented on this forum that Champions Club members are often times not contacted and followed up with. NDSU is way better at staying in touch with their benefactors. Look, I am just thermonuclear pi$$ed off right now. But I do think UND needs to be more proactive and assertive when it comes to fundraising for athletics.

Finally something we agree on! I would also be happy to contribute to a buyout. But I would gladly settle for no extension for Bubba.

They made changes to their staff. UND will just pretend everything is fine as it is. Like you are doing.

You are not even interested in looking for donors to fund a buyout. That is the apathetic attitude I have no patience for.

I honestly don't give a rat's a$$ what happens in Vermilion next week. But I suppose USD will shut them down and have no problem scoring points.
