Agreed. I don't think they will wear them before that game. If it is gonna be a true "blackout" game, I would assume the team would be wearing the black pants as well!! I know that this is going to be an exciting season and every home game is gonna be great: But I haven't looked forward to a home game like this (Montana) probably since the 2003 game against the Bison!! If the old Alerus atmoshere is not back by then, it will deffinitely be back for that game!! I can imagine hearing a little "Back in BLack" intro with the lights out and having the team run out in their all black jerseys!! It will be the biggest game in our D1 history!! Anyone else getting goosebumps!!!

We don't need NDSU to give UND football legitimacy. Sorry. And to answer your question about UND hockey playing NDSU, They definitely would. When Bemidgi State move up to D1 hockey, UND played them all the time. Programs speak for themselves. Recruits aren't making their choice where to play based on 1 game between the two teams. I am such and tired of the "NDSU does what in their best interests" crap. Well, keep saying that. Cause to you and other NDSU fans, coaches, etc it sounds like a good excuse, but to UND and all other people it is very COWARDLY!! If you think you are so great and better than UND...play us!!!

Not for a second. I think its ironic that in a time where you would think people would be down about UND athletics considering UND had to drop the Fighting Sioux name, a name we have all cheered for and loved for many years, the excitement for UND atheletics has never been greater.

I think that Bradley leaving says a lot about how good Molberg is. Bradley would be a senior next year and you would think be a lick to start over a freshman, but apparently he saw the wuality of QB's over the next two years and realized that he probably would get no higher than the #2 spot.

Having a Senior as the backup who has been in the program is deffinitely a plus. Hopefully both those guys can stay healthy so we don't have to pull off any redshirts (especially Molbergs).

I am a fan of the University of North Dakota and will support the new name and logo and wear the new merchandise. I would guess that there are many others like me that feel the same way.

If the proposed measure "would change the North Dakota Constitution to require that the University of North Dakota's sports teams be known as the Fighting Sioux" how can Johnson say that it doesn't require the sports teams at UND to wear the logo or use the name? So UND's spots teams will be known as the Fighting Sioux but won't wear and logo or use the name? So basically the official unofficial name and logo? What is the point of that? To ensure that UND does not completely forget about the name and logo and wipe it from its history? No chance that UND will do that. this measure is a waste of time. If it was on the ballot this Novemember, it micht get beaten 90/10. Which is exactly why they are debating putting it on the ballot.

How about the place that moved into that building when it moved....Dagwoods!! Before the smoking ban at GF bars went into effect, this was the only bar in Grand Forks that was smoke free!! Deffinitely a plus for people that didn't want to reak of smoke after being out at a bar. Loved the sandwiches and the Mug Club deals were pretty good. Got a couple mugs from there in my cupboard right now!!
