FWIW The sky is not falling.... The Dmen are not that bad Saunders isnt exactly a sieve And evem with a loss tinight the season isnt over ...the McNaughton may be out but the season is far from over . I say home playoff series. ..Final five run.. and a 2 seed in the tourney... And from there its a crap shoot as always. UND can beat this goofer team butvthey have to play almost perfect to do it.....

Welp.... That one was not fun to sit through the last period of.. In reality No not the best game but really to say the d was awfull isn't accurate.. In fact the d played a very good job of stymiing the goofs into the zone, against BC and Notre dame the forwards gained the zone with more ease and where able to set up their offense much better.... The problems came on the clearing of the puck and the real problem came on the one on ones that the goofs scored on.. Those were good goals but I would think Saunders needs to get at least two of those. The forwards very little chemistry ....all scoring chances came on a zone entry and then a slip pass to the net, they were not able to get anything really set up....they banged it around down on the boards a bunch but it's always just a bump and a bounce and a hope and a prayer from there. Gophers are a good team....good depth good D. Wilcox is very impressive....the type of goalie that can win a Nattie...IMHO To see the score and think Sioux were blown out or "dominated" as the inebriated goof backer behind me stated was simply not the case. Through two periods it was an even hockey game coulda been 2-1 1-2 1-1....anybody's game, even down 3-1 I thought some good momentum was building.... The breaking point ....literally was the stick breaking and the shorty. UND can beat this team,...no question about it,,,,Saturday maybe,. March more likely. I'm now 1-4 on road trips so it's a good thing I'm watching on tv tomorrow

The taunting and intimidating of younger fans is just gross and it does happen both ways but really gets me...and this also happens both ways is; If some guy around me was givin the business to some kid, I think that it would be my, and all other decent humans around, responsibility would be to either shut the guy up or have the ushers help him to another seat....I.e. parking lot. Taunting kids is just unacceptable. I really enjoy going to road games and when you get the chance to watch hockey with other passionate yet knowledgable, respectfull, fans its just amazing....a little chiding amongst ...great ...deriding kids with fbombs....gone.

Id say payment was just the ante someday in some AHL rink next year Blood will meet up with Ms Rau again.... What exactly will save him then..some things in hockey are understood as acceptable, what rau said isnt one of those things and may God, and Blood, have mercy on him after he has to face the music without a cage or a ref in front of him.
