You’ve disclosed an unfortunate truth; off the field perception does influence playoff selection based on how the process works. with that said, it ultimately comes down to how you perform on the field; Bubba and boys simply need to win more big games (FBS games, NDSU, SDSU, etc).

-I’m excited for this offense. -defense has me walking on eggshells. -special teams is wildcard, possibly the tie breaker on how this season goes (field goal %, clutch kicks, return game, avoid giving up big returns, blocked punts, etc).

But … you missed the point. Slow versus slowest doesn’t change the message.

No one in the NFL would say 4.63 is “fast” for a wide receiver, even in the 1990s, so the point still remains: game speed isn’t just how fast you run, but how fast you mentally process everything (instincts, reflexes, etc.).

Well he’s made it to his 5th year so he basically is at the end of the line regardless.

I think that’s the hope. We will see.

Spot on. KK is out of position as much as anyone in the secondary. Hopefully the “new system” helps… Im skeptical just how “new” this system will be though considering where it is coming from.

Testing / workout speed and game speed are two different things, but I appreciate your optimism. We will see …

Uniform goals for UND football … Classic Kelly greens, Adidas, classics, … Finny thing is the “winged helmet” could even work for the fighting hawks… not saying UND should go that route. Just start with some clean Kelly Greens and all white road jerseys …

So @Nacho thinks the players from last year’s secondary are apparently top notch. Stats and common sense suggests otherwise.

Kk is an absolute liability. All the experience (and leadership, blah, blah) in the world wont make him any faster, if anything, just slower. Putting him on the field simply because he’s been around forever worries me … I hope the coaches can find someone to replace him or we’ll continue to see big plays down the field with #24 trailing in pursuit.

This comment says way more about UND being sh*t than it says anything about Boise State. How do you think NDSU or SDSU would fare? Yeah, this comment just sh*ts on UND, even if you don’t realize it; and with the “Not anything against UND” crap. Boise State isn’t a juggernaut by any means, but they are a solid non-Power 5 program, which should also be UND football’s goal. Based on how 2021 vs Utah State went, I get the concerns, though.
