All these low expectation caps on what UND can and can’t do is ridiculous … sure 50 points is hyperbole, but lowering expectations year after year is b*llshit … win by a couple scores and make it the f*ckin goal

Against NDSU, especially in 2021 with him getting all the defensive help he needed, what happened? I’m sorry - you either have it or you don’t. Tommy has been great, but let’s not act like he’s a championship QB (…yet).

Bubba is a generation removed from being successful. It’s time for him to take the next step in his life and hand Danny the keys. The vibe has never been right in big games under his watch, but he’ll always be a UND guy, and that’s worth something. He’s just not a championship leader.

UND’s chihuahua hasn’t won any big games though. 1-2 in playoffs? Hopefully 2023 changes that record.

Carroll was awful. Won’t miss him. Borud will be better, but won’t take much.

“Leave no doubt” and “another year of UND football” are not often associated with each other, unfortunately, but this year has a chance. Although, leadership structure is much the same, so we’ll see…

GFH probably should get another reporter committed to football then … they do it for ice puck Miller does a great job, but you can’t do it all. Eventually, regardless of what we’re talking about, if you take on too much, you get spread too thin.

8-3 is really an honest prediction; not sticking their neck out much with an upset prediction vs Boise or SDSU. There will be some upsets, good and bad, and make it interesting. Heck, that’s sports. It’s what brings us back year after year. I just hope Bubba and his staff/players are on the good side of the surprises this time as opposed to the other way it’s been year after year of late.

I’m obviously incredibly biased (despite what some clowns on here think/say) but I’m more and more impressed with this roster/staff as I read about it. I just usually say it how I think it is, good or bad, but I think a solid 9-2 or 8-3 season is on the horizon. Go Hawks!
