  1. Brock Boltmann is a better athlete than QB. Love that Freund’s offense has a place for these talented players. Allows the talented playmakers to get on the field - whether at QB, WR, slot, RB, TE, etc. Simplicity of the offense allows for players to play and know multiple spots. Much improved from the previous coordinator’s antique offense...
  2. Can never beat this. They need to wear it more, honestly.
  3. Those are Nike uniforms that were available to UND from 2012 to 2014. The above photo is from 2012, when Greg Hardin had a huge game against the Griz. Currently, UND is sponsored by Adidas, so black jerseys would now need to be Adidas. Therefore, what you see above is obsolete. I like the look, though, and the former players from that time did also. Would be nice to have black Adidas uniforms as alternates to the Kelly Green mainstays.
  4. That would be a nice touch. I just think the gray jersey is pointless. The gray pants and eventually the gray helmet are fine due to historical significance. I still think UND should have gone with an alternate black jersey, black pants look.
  5. Do some research. Until then I won't waste my time. UND had a winning season in 2018, which is good. They need to make the playoffs, though.
  6. UND can do no wrong. All hail Bubba. c’mon folks, see the light.
  7. The funny thing is, all the little things add up to form or not form the results we all want. The details are key, including things that initially seem trivial like poorly organized spring games, nose guard depth and uniforms.
  8. And there it is. Sad state of affairs for UND football. Blah
  9. I respectfully disagree. Should be at the home of UND football: the Alerus Center.
  10. Grey instead of black for the University of North Dakota was just dumb. Another Bubba mistake.
  11. When you aren't drawing a crowd, do something then to actually draw a crowd. Again, UND settles for second fiddle. Your low expectations and apathy in defense of this says it all.
  12. I agree. Many will cite what they see as practical issues, such as the Alerus Center not being available, but these things are merely poor excuses. If UND and Bubba ACTUALLY wanted to make UND Spring Football an event to build hype - such as a Spring Game at the Alerus Center with tailgating, halftime entertainment with the band, etc. - they certainly could do it with advanced planning. Instead, UND football tends to settle for second fiddle.
  13. Unreal. This comment is damn poetic. Cheers to you, my friend. Go UND and Go Danny Freund.
  14. I expect it to be Ketteringham. As said before, his numbers weren’t horrible last season and he was playing in the offense where QBs go to die. Sorry, but wipe the slate clean when it comes to QBs + Rudolph. Too many arm chair QBs have been tough on Ketteringham. Ketteringham has the potential with a uptempo spread offense which is what Freund will run. Also, he had some moments, such as the 2018 Montana game.
  15. I’ll believe unofficial word of mouth in this one. [football program > individual student-athlete] is all we’re seeing here as far as lack of official statement goes.
  16. I suggest you do some research. There’s this fancy new thing called “Google”.
  17. Why not just play all the games in the HPC? I hear the new shiny bleachers are awful fancy ... HPC is tremendous for routine practice and access when weather is how it’s been, but is it really designed to replace Alerus Center? C’mon ...
  18. Right ... (no one likes the Alerus Center anyway!) How exciting.
  19. Spring “Game” going to be in the PRACTICE HPC or the Home of UND Football Alerus Center? The logical answer is, well, obvious but not guaranteed to happen.
  20. I’ll go with the opposite.
  21. Either way, Freund’s offense will be easier to learn and understand than the previous one. That’s a major plus. Most importantly, I think the offense will be more effective. The details really make a difference, though, so will have to see what it actually looks like to know for sure. Spring ball will be great preview.
  22. No one cares what you think, bovine lover.
  23. RB Coach Malcom Agnew. Apparently the plan fell through or it was all just talk. https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/4537046-ex-und-standouts-now-turn-their-attention-pro-game
