I get a fealing the NHL will continue to allow the crazy goals. They are Sportcenter worthy and get people talking about hockey. Who cares about the goalies in overtime. I want to see some great goals!

Didn't Blais coach girls hockey at Roseau before becoming the boys coach? I don't see him taking the womens job except to live back in GF. Imagine the pressure on Hakstal then. I've always thought he'd go back to college, but I don't count on a big time program until a coach decides to leave.

Lived there for a couple of years. Guys used to come back all the time to look at the place and talk about all the craziness. I guess a pool table used to be in the main room. Which explained why the floors were bowed.

I just read in the Strib today that Mankato has women's bowling and the number one ranked player at that. Seems like it'd be a cheap sport to build up female numbers.

I'm really surprised that SCSU is announcing this without having the NCC try and pluck some teams. I just don't see the NSIC being able to support everyone. I'm really surprised there isn't some talk between the NCC and NSIC to try and balance things out. I think there are plenty of teams for two conferences, but the NCC will probably have to lower the scholarships. I wouldn't think this would be a big stumbling block seeing as how all these teams will need to do it going to the NSIC anyways.

Then be thankful you aren't a UAA or Tech fan. At least Tech had some success back in the day.

I haven't seen all the games, but what I have seen is that this team isn't a physical force. They need to hit and clear out in front of the net.

NFL Network is also carrying the Gophers game. Not many homes in the metro area of Minnesota get the NFL Network. It's just a ploy so they can get more pressure put on the cable providers.

Please no basketweaving. My last grad class the teacher taught us this. It had nothing to do with the class and she wasted one of the sessions doing this. The class was only 9 sessions long.

I've heard from numerous people in Tempe/Phoenix that the OSU fans are a pain. This includes high end hotel employees. I'm sure every business likes the green. I've never met any personally, and I was at Columbus for the Frozen Four! Also, I'm sure every teams' fans are essentially the same. I think Tempe/Phoenix is just sick of seeing OSU.

I just wish I could join you there. It is a bummer that the game is at Glendale, but the arena looks terrific. It's the fringe of the city. Sun Devil Stadium on the other hand is only a few blocks from downtown Tempe which offers many drinking options. I'm guessing no drinking at the game. Is Tostidos the sponsor? If they are at least free chips should be available.

You should have a good time. The Phoenix area hates Ohio St. now that they've obnoxiously been there like 4 of 5 years.

I would hope that ND people could behave better than those Ivy Leaguers, but the name changers need to take a lesson from this fiasco going on out east. Changing the name changes nothing, because the name is not the amswer to the problem.

The night all the workers got to bring some family and drink for free and do some skating. It was the best because they were playing Mystery, Alaska on the big screens. Needless to say the sex scene was very loud coming out all those speakers.
