At least he lists how and where he gets is "inside" knowledge. You just seem to like to play devil's advocate on everything.

I see the game tracker is through CSTV. I was checking it out last weekend. The stats are nice, but the play by play doesn't work so well. It takes them a looooong time to update things. I also noticed that their shot chart was different from what Henessee (?) was announcing during the game.

Short answer: No. Long answer: There are roller hockey rinks around and some of my students do play, but there isn't much for ice rinks. However, I did get an email that the Staples Center is renting out ice time. Also they do have some of the all star teams. Need big time bucks to play. I know Wisconsin has nabbed a few kids from LA, including every Sioux fans favorite Robbie Earl.

I taught while wearing my Sioux jersey today. Of course it was jersey day for homecoming week. I wear it any time I go out, because I always will run into someone who is a Sioux fan or just thinks the jersey is cool. BTW, my students love the jersey. I'm doing my best to convert them to hockey.

I wish I could have been there. It sounded like a lot of fun. I guess GF is the place to be this week. Now the T Wolves come in. I was a little surprised that they had to get the tennis court from the Staples Center. I would've thought that somewhere closer would have had one. Anyone know what it cost to rent that court?

I was more surprised the Michigan St. was #2 on that list. I know they had great D and Miller behind them, but I didn't think they were atop for so long. Especially with BC being so good recently as well. Maybe I missed something with MSU in the late 90s.

I'm with you jk. We swept Maine which was great, but now I think people are getting too excited and optimistic. Every year North Dakota is in title contention, but I think this team needs to fly under the radar. Everyone thinks we'll be down (a little), so why not surprise them? They no longer have the media circus of Bucks and Parise, which should help. I think the team will do great this year, but I still have questions. How will this team respond on the PP? How will they do when they get in a tight checking low scoring affair like the Denver game last year? Can they remain consistent? For that matter, I think we're putting to much pressure on the freshman. They are not Parise or Bochenski and will never be. They are their own player and it takes freshman time to develop. Even Murray said that he was tired at the end of last season. What happens when we rely on these freshman and they wear down at the end of the season? Maybe I'm being too pessismistic, but there is just too much season to declare that these guys are going to win the title. Do I want them to? Sure, but I'll know a lot more about their chances come the end of the season.

PCM, So were you the guy who yelled "Gotta have more cowbell." at the band towards the end of the game? Apparently someone in the band did have a cowbel, and it wasn't for a song either.

Bulldog, I must commend you on coming back to this board with all the smack you were laying down. However, I don't believe that UND ran up the score. The entire fourth quarter was just us running the ball. I do believe your 2nd team D was in on our last TD. Was our 2nd team O-line in on that drive? I didn't catch if they were or not. Let's not forget that we were without our #1 running back either. Was the crowd loud? I didn't think that I really heard any false start penalties being called.

If it doesn't matter, why did you bring it up in the first place?
