Belmore was 21 of 29. 163 yards and 4 TDs. A lot of short passes, but obviously he hit the open recievers.

UND gave up 1 yard of rushing. I think Ferris only rushed 20 times. Our sacks really helped.

Saginaw also lost to Mercyhurst 22-15.

Roland hurt his knee last week. I believe he played a few plays in the first quarter, but with this lead there is no point in him playing.

Ferris finally puts in their other QB. I expected to see him a while ago since they have both played this year anyways. Did I hear right? Is the other guy injured.

I think as an offense with this big of a lead, you want to keep the clock running. Though, I would like to hear that Manke is throwing a few balls. Lets see what he's got.

It may not be this game, but I do believe that SCSU will lose an NCC game this year.

I'm loving that we are trying to get the ball to Dressler. He's already made some big plays in this game.

Sounded like Belmore actually had a good first drive. Sounded like he really used some smarts to wait to throw that TD.

I thought the refs were really allowing both teams to hit. The Sioux were especially hitting hard in the first. I can only think of two penalties for hitting. The major and the one on Green towards the end of the game. I think most of the calls were for hooking. More of the obstruction type.

Thoughts after the game: Some weird bounces at that rink and I loved the comment by the intermission CSTV guys. Pregame one said that Maine had the best atmosphere. At period break the other said they were disqualified because of the Thunderstix. It's good to see the interference/hooking/and even diving be called. I thought this was one of the better reffed games. Sure nobody wants to watch penalty after penalty, but the ref followed the rules (even on the 5 minute major for injury to the head). The ref also made the correct call on OT. The Maine player tried to knock the net over from behind. I don't think anything was too surprising. D had some lapses, and the O isn't quite there. I liked our hitting and pressure. Also, it didn't surprise me that we couldn't score on the PP. Keep in mind that a couple of those weren't full length. The only truly surprising thing was that we were giving up short handed breaks again. One break away, almost a 2 on 0, and there were at least three 2-1 chances for Maine shorthanded. I think we need to take the forward off the blue line for now. Good to know our big guns scored. McMahon played very hard. Even his five minute major was a hard check.

First ever penalty shot for Stafford. Said the ice was kind of bad at that point, so decided to shoot. Also said that the Sioux were great conditioning wise.

I'm really curious to see if the reffing remains this tight in OT. I wasn't a fan of the Green penalty. It seemed more like Green was protecting himself from getting hit. It just so happened he flatenned the Maine player. Though, I guess he did hit him in the head.

Maine had the bounces on that last goal. Some how it magically came from the corner to right out front. Parise dove head first to stop the shot. It wasn't much of a shot and deflected to the side of the net, where a Maine player picked it up and just whizzed it past McMahon on a tight angle.

CSTV was on. They said that the refs were letting the ice set up.

Murray was the period break guest. He put on 16 lbs of muscle while living and working out at the Kings training facility for two and a half months.

I don't know if there is much to say on this game. It's kind of just there. Lots of penalties which should be expected. I think the Sioux have controlled the 5x5 situation, but they aren't getting great opportunities from it. The CSTV color man (who I swear sounds like the old Wild color man), said the Sioux were really only forechecking two players after UND regained the lead. I expect more of the ho-hum in the third.
