You may be right. I just seem to have it in my head that something else happened. I went quite often and it was always a good crowd. Two screens, but very large theaters. Definitely bigger than anything the 10 has.

Not a lack of seats, but a lack of screens. The big budget movies buy out multiple screens, while lesser movies might only be around for a couple of weeks. The 10 is just fine, but expensive. Especially when there isn't stadium seating. The 4 is becoming a dump. Certainly needs new seats. But is perfect for a cheap movies. Whoever said that this town couldn't support a cheap theater is wrong. The last cheap theater was in the South Forks Plaza/Grand Cities Mall and alwalys seemed to have a good crowd. If I remember correct there were other circumstances to it closing.

Just watched Panzer score a goal for the Crunch. The commentators talked about how Dean probably was the driving force to getting him in the organization. They also talked about how Panzer is quite good despite his size. The game is on DirecTV channel 637 for those with sports pack.

Woog still makes idiotic statements, but he's gotten much better over the years. It's too the point where I don't mind listening to him. I think he's also toned down his homerism.

I have no choice when the Sioux are playing the Gophs, because the internet feed is too far behind.

Not surprising. The only CC games on FSN are picking up the UW or UM feed.

Didn't McCrapo win some sort of award for being a good broadcaster? He is horrible. Though better than Pat Sweeney, but Pat isn't being broadcast around the country via satellite either.

I think a movie theatre is a perfect fit for the mall. Nothing seems to bring in people like the movies. Plus, GF has needed a rival for Crapmike for a long time. $5 for a matinee you guys pay. Terrible. I went to stadium seating yesterday with reclining chairs and it was $4. Not to mention that every food and drink item was cheaper. Did I hear correctly that the 4 is going to finally become the cheap theatre when the new Crapmike gets built?

If I'm not mistaken, Wisco has the toughest finishing schedule while Minny has the easiest. I'm sure Wisco will start dropping, but of course we need to start winning.

Not sure what you guys hear on the news up there, but it's been raining pretty much non-stop in LA for almost a month. Now I live on the other side of the mountains in the desert, so our weather changes a bit. Anyways, I'm an Algebra I teacher and it was slightly raining on Friday, so they cancelled school for us at 11. Then it rained (actual full fledged) all day Sunday. Driving around town was a nightmare due to flooding. So yet again this morning they cancelled school. And now it is a bright sun shining day. What a crazy state.

Speaking of replay screens, it's about time they got them. I hear they are finally replacing the relic at center ice as well.

You're right, we shouldn't lose to Makato in our barn. Though now I believe MSU is like 3-2-1 or 4-3-1 against us in our "new" place.

On the first play in question, the ref never blew the whistle. It seemed to me like the puck was just in front of Briggs pads by his feet. It might have been partially covered, and when Briggs went into the net the puck followed. I didn't see that second play. Good assessment on the scoring for CC and UM. Much like the Sioux last year with Parise and Bochenski.

It was hard to see on where that puck was on the replay, but you could see the puck near the post through a gap in Briggs' pads. The ref was right behind the net, so I gotta believe he would've blown it dead if he lost sight of it.

Michigan won on a goal in the final seconds as well. 15 left in Denver and still 1-0 DU.
