I can't see the beer rule holding. Schools will lose too much money from concessions and eventually people choosing not to attend.

The amazing thing to me in all of this is the way the "liberal" media is reacting. The majority of it is bashing the NCAA over this. Heck, it was even on one of the big news channels. I think it was Fox. They had a panel and just ripped apart the poor lady that was trying to defend this stance by the NCAA. There needs to be a class action lawsuit against the NCAA for discrimination.

I was thinking the same about Notre Dame. How is it only being deemed offensive towards only Native Americans? To take it further, what about names like Trojans and Spartans? Can't a case be made against them as well?

Star2city may have more on this, but from what I'm hearing in Bunning's meetings with staff is that UND was about 200,000 in debt the past year. DI does not seem to be his main agenda or concern (getting in the black is), but he will probably set up a committee. It does seem like he wants to play the Bison again since Minnesota is really our only big rival. Big revenue can be had playing NDSU, but I can't see FB doing it due to playoff implications. The Bison would also help those attendance numbers. It also wouldn't surprise me to see a big capital gains push for the athletic department.

How? Each team only had like five guys signed to them for when they had to start producing the game. They should just wait a month or so and get the players on the proper teams.

Are you able to sit and have a few beers after the game, or do they force everyone to leave? That would allow the traffic to thin a little.

I believe so, but I can't remember the full story. I think I read it in either ESPN or Sports Illustrated.
