The big plays make this team fun. The odd thing is that the big plays shouldn't really be happening. What I mean is that the plays aren't expected to be big, and yes, I realize every play is designed to hopefully be big. How often have we actually tried a deep ball. I've seen three games, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I've only seen three or four deep balls.

One reporter on MSNBC came across a Wal-Mart being looted. He asked somebody if he felt he "needed" a TV. The guy said the cops were taking, so why couldn't he? The reporter walked around and sure enough he found a couple of female cops just shopping. They had all kinds of stuff in their cart, but no food. The one cop even threatened to arrest the reporter for looting.

Do they ID for students?

Wasn't it some sort of hunting opener? Maybe I'm just dreaming this, but it always seems to be a lighter crowd when a hunting opener is going on.

Southwest side. I believe it's a section over from the students. They normally don't fill up the visitors, so my guess is you could buy at the door for that section. Otherwise try calling SCSU (UND may give them some tickets).

Thanks for the link, but I've read through that a bit before. All it seems to say is Dakota. Which is also the way you see it on casinos and street names and sign designating tribal land. Yet quite often NA's will write it is as Dacotah. I'm just curious if this is a tribal thing or the proper way to write it.

Probably not the right place, but can anyone explain all the different variations on Dakota. Or Dacotah, or Dakotah, or ... Is it a tribal dialect thing? It seems that the proper way is Dacotah, but most tribes display Dakota. At least on casinos.

I worked on the crew that did the surveying for that project (concrete project of the year!). Everyone was wondering why they weren't building an underpass then. I believe 42nd was federally funded anyways. Which is why the stop sign girl made 3x as much as me. I do believe it's on the slate at some point (from a few years ago), but the whole intersection needs to be reworked for the underpass to happen. Also sounded like the feds are looking at redoing the Demers ramps (plus building University ramps). Maybe the city is waiting for that.

Is anyone really surprised? It's one thing when both are DII, but now with the "prestige" its a new ball game. Amy's head will roll much quicker if she doesn't get the best players. Who wants to lose recruits to a DII school? Hopefully it does make the papers. Should be a good bruise for NDSU's DI ego when Bergan stays with UND.

I thought your club hockey had shut down for a while. Do they still play Northern Arizona? BTW, in case you didn't know rugby is club at UND as well.

I'll be at the game this weekend. I'm excited to see some of my Caimbridge friends knock the crap out of SCSU. You know who you are. I'm also excited to see Dressler again. Wow. 3 returns this year tying the career record with two others including Lueck. The guy is exciting and the best part is that he'll be around for four years unlike that ZP guy. So who was/is better at returns. Lueck or Dressler? I don't think Lueck returned for a full season, yet neither has Dressler. Which return TEAM is better for those two?

Doesn't SCSU do a lot of three step quick passes? If so, I don't see us blitzing much against that. With those big offensive lineman, I'm more worried about the run D. But not really. We're pretty good at that. I believe Augie was held to less than a yard per carry.

Do you really think that a NSIC team will still be in the top ten by the end of the year?

Anybody have a good connection with UND's audio. Mine is filled with fuzzy background noise.

One from my area. example 4 Notice what word is used and what one is in perenthesis. I even see many Native Americans driving vehicles with a feather on it and a script native pride. I don't have a problem with it, in fact I think it's kind of cool, but this slams that logo argument about the feather being plastered on stuff.
