pj sparks just fell down my depth chart at running back after hearing about him wearing a FANNY PACK with built in speakers around town?

was biking by the old rea/eerc area saturday...is it just me or does that new eerc building make it really tight to fit what is proposed in some the the drawings you see online for the ipf? that building overlaps about a quarter of the way into the old rea's footprint?

i don't see the montanas "personally" getting und into the bsc one year and the next ditching them for the wac? they will bring und (and maybe ndac) with them whereever they go...as for the alerus would the 15k rule be ok with we have 13k in the main arena and 2k somewhere else inthe building (standing room only in the ballroom watching on cctv?)...also with the new pit being dug in the south endzone that pretty much elimnates any expansion south to add anymore seats unless you wanna admit you just threw away another million dollars?

not an expert on how many sports all these different schools need but yes that is funny that baseball could get us in....but if the wac needed one more sport some people were throwing around men's soccer? soccer? how about since denver already has lacrosse, why not lacrosse? probably just as cheap as soccer to start up but 1000 times more fun to watch!!!! sica??

i read a lot about this today (slow day at work) and if montana and msu are for it (which it sounds like they are the ones pushing for it) then I'm all for it.....it puts the WAC on a couple of years of life support (while um/msu decide once and for all what they want to do) and if it doesn't work then um, msu, psu, sac, and und go back to the big sky (prolly along with idaho) and the wac dies and the bsc is the third and last western fb conf in the west...

can't they give shobert comes' scholly now?

does anyone know exactly what ndac's buyout is? and would there be two of them one from summit and one for mvfc?

if faison can pull this off g.t. at the ndac is gonna have a heart attack.....having denver come here for oly sports would be awesome!!!!

what i don't understand is if we are getting new uniforms (all black or majority black) why are we worried matching helmets to old jerseys that won't be worn?

i think if they had black helmets, green jerseys, and black bottoms (like the hockey teams) they would look pretty sharp....

CAA Football leads all conferences with 15 selections each from nine member schools. The Big Sky and Southland conferences have 14 selections each and the Southern Conference follows with 13. anyone see the ncc2.1 football conference on this list?

almost everyone would have a true travel partner um/msu und/ndsu idaho/eastern washington portland/sacramento idaho state/weber state suu/nau davis/poly unc/nmsu (really the only bad one)

i just don't see idaho ever getting an invite to the mwc...plus i don't see nm letting nmsu ever into the mwc either...which leaves the big sky or independent? so to get to 14/16 i would great to see the big sky add idaho, nmsu, and yes ndac. but i don't like affiliate stuff so if the big sky added those three schools i would be all for asking/telling poly and davis that its all or nothing and split into two eight team divsions for all sports... north montana montanta state und ndsu idaho isu weber state eastern washington south portland sacramento davis poly nau suu unc nmsu i think the big sky would be a stronger conference than either the mac or the sun belt

Sica ur next....as for the reapers what would your logo look like? a scythe or a drone? and remember whatever the new logo, nickname, and mascot it has to make und money!!! a cool sounding name is one thing but to actually make a logo that would sell is another thing. as for norse being a knockoff of the vikings...nothing is more of a ripoff than the north stars

as for FBS or FCS once all this realignment stuff goes down (maybe after july 1st?) you will have the pac 12, big 12, big 10, sec, and maybe the acc and big east and everyone else will be technically fcs anyways....the only difference is that the people in missoula and bozeman primarily want local kids to represent their school and would rather play for a championship on the field instead of some San Francisco Bowl against Eastern Michigan? is arkansas state and their 9 million dollars athletic budget more FBS than UND and their 19 million dollar budget and for that matter NDAC and their 14 million dollar budget?

It's about as similar to the word sioux as your gonna get and i think the marketing opportunities are endless when it comes to making money for the athletic department...i do like some others around here but in the long run Fighting Norse is my favorite by far. Norse=Sioux--five letters here comes your fighting norsssssssssssssssssssssse scoring works hockey jersey would look almost exactly the same as the old sioux jerseys if ben brien did the new norsehead logo a mjonir would a great secondary logo---would look nice crossed over on the shoulder of the new hockey jersey like the old crossed tomahawks.... a student dressed up like thor would be a cool mascot..(no thunder the bleacher creature tho)!! plus its an in ur face to the pc crown where one logo is h&a and the other is perfectly fine? i do like reapers, plainsman (gender issues with the man ending?), and cavalry also..

got a buddy of mine that is pretty good at logo's so he is working on making a new hockey jersey with the norse name and a norse warrior head...this (profile pic) is something he just threw to together to ask me if this is what i was looking for....can't wait to see the end result with an original "fighting norse" logo on a hockey jersey
