No chance that happens due to obvious issues with branding and women's athletics. There won't be such a thing as Norsemen and Norsewomen or Lady Norsemen, sorry.

Not a lot of talent at any skill position.
And you're "surprised" at how out of hand the game got?
i disagree with everyone saying not a lot of talent at the skill position...i just think that a fb team starts with the o line and d line and they just need to get bigger and stronger and hopefully the coaches can hide some the deficiencies on both lines through creative coaching
and yes i bet there two or three teams in the bsc that are better than this team and we happen to play all three of them!!

the one coach i was really wanting to see coach was rudolph and i'm not sure what to think especially the qb sneak...pecosky or iverson running it with adler in motion and clearing out the left side of the line would have been nice to see or if your gonna do qb sneak walk up and quck snap and damit joe move your feet your six two and two hundred plus!!!!...plus i am a huge proponent of the te being a big part of a balanced offense and tonight not so much other than the ruhe's nice catch and run....

Best check the stats since we have over one trillion times the production by our TEs in one game as all of last year.
im a game like this you would think that little dumps to your te or bootlegs to the te blocking then releasing would help joe a little...but yes that 50 yards was more than the last two years combined probablyl...

It's been a long time since I have seen successful in game adjustments, I just want to see the running game get going and see the lines start to steady up a bit.
let's see how this second half goes...i think jer saw his last carry in this game....maybe a little trickery or play action hit em long....bring some different blitzes...who knows what will happen in the second half but curious as hell to find out

if we outscore them 28 to 7 in the second half my prediction is dead on....this is where bubba and schmidt will make some adjustments and i think the second half should be fun to watch..

i thought maybe tt, fsu, and sdsu might be blowouts yet the only fbs game taht wasn't close was idaho???
who knows what the result will be but if we have the ball down a td with two minutes to go and we punt i will blow up my tv.

I think UND agreeing to terms that NDSU decided were too good to turn down had something to do with it.
I'm not happy about the game.... But when a team turns down a two game deal for x amount of money.... And then agrees to two games for less than x amount of money...it kinda makes sense I guess.
I'm still not happy about the game and plan on being in South Bend on the day of the game
this game isn't and wasn't about money...if the ndac's number one program (fb) loses to und's number two sport the fans of the ndac won't know what to do...ten years ago they had an option adn that was to go d1...now when the ndac loses to und in fb what's left to do??? the only way that question wouldn't have to be answered was if the game was never played ever and the teammakers/gt/lakes were trying to make sure this game never happened.

the reason why the bar kept moving on these games being played was that the ndac/gt/teammakers did not want this game at any price at any venue ever? yet something changed and by the demeanor of the ndac officials at the press conference it seems like it was out of their hands...like they know something but can't tell the fans of the ndac?? something doesn't add up here?

Yeah, FU has no desire to get into the BSC and UND has not desire to get into the MVFC. (plus Peak conference or whatever...)
Both fan bases should quit this gibberish. Sounds like people are doing too many jager shots with fraudulent credit cards...
for a team not wanting into the bsc (ndac) they sure are scheduling a lot of bsc teams?

call me a conspiracy lover but why do i get the feeling that fullerton is behind some of the ndac's recent ooc scheduling?
ndac now has montana and weber this year...und, montana, and weber the next....ew the next couple of years and then und one more time for their ooc schedule....maybe the demeanor at the press conference was because fullerton told the new the ad at the ndac that this divide between the ndac and und needed to be closed before the ndac would be considered for future membership in the Big Sky Conference???

You have to think strategically about what is going on.
Idaho will not be invited back to the Sun Belt in 2015 (although they can play til 2017). The Big Sky will petition the NCAA to form a FBS league in late 2015. E Wash in adding on to their stadium in anticipation of FBS, so they need bigger FCS teams to fill it. EWU wants NDSU in the league.
NDSU thinks they will play UND eventually because they think they will be in an FBS Big Sky. NDSU just want to delay that series from starting. NDSU has to go to the Big Sky, as no other conference will offer them an FBS spot. No Colo can't go FBS, so NDSU knows that the Big Sky needs them for a travel partner with UND. Faison is offering NDSU a better deal, because he knows that an NDSU deal would get overturned by the league office.
Perhaps UND and the Big Sky should offer SDSU first, giving UND a travel partner. Let NDSU rot on the vine in FCS while UND and SDSU clean up on recruiting. Then NDSU will be crying to the media about UND being unfair. Give it a few years until recruiting dries up, and then NDSU can come aboard if they play the first two in GF.
i would absolutely laugh if both usd and the ndac were left floating in fcs/d2/ncc 2.4 and sdsu with their new facilities is chosen by the big sky presidents as und's travel partner in a big sky/wac/fbs merger...usd is dead to fullerton and i can see the new ad at the ndac already buttering up with these odd ooc games he is scheduling...

you do wonder when the next shoe is gonna drop which starts this all over again...you know big 10 is gonna target north carolina and maybe kansas which means the acc would have to add and then the big 12 would have to add someone too and it starts again...i don't think the mwc is as stable as most people think bc i think boise state is still wanting bigger and better things than the mwc (which is why peterson probably left for uw finally)....i just know that montana, montana state, idaho, and north dakota are a nice start to maybe something bigger and better down the line?
