That’s a potentially good get for CC. With all the talk on the UND/DU game thread debating whether UND is dirty and chippy or has tough, hard nosed players, I’d say that CC could certainly use more size and toughness. They’ve been a pretty small and non-physical team during the Haviland era.
A CC fan posted on one of the CC FB pages that the Tigers just lost a prized recruit and is going to North Dakota instead. He didn’t say the name of the player. Anyone know who he’s talking about?
Yah, I’m not playing in it this year either. Was invited to play but it’s too long of a drive from Colorado Springs and I wanted to be home with the family and watch the UND series instead.
They do make a valid point in their story and comments that taking all these penalties could really cost us come tournament time. I think all of us on this board would agree that UND has taken way too many penalties this season and need to cut that out of their game the rest of the way.
Sorry I’m late to the party but anyone know what the rationale was in picking the Ralph to host the post season tournament? Particularly the Ralph over Omaha?
Anyone remember the time Cole Smith got a 5 and a game for committing the crime of standing there in the offensive zone and a DU player wasn’t looking where he was going and running into him and hurting himself? Yah, that happened at Magot Arena too.
