The only other video production worse than Omaha’s is CC’s. There ought to be a minimum standard across the board for all league programs. Like@stoneySIOUX mentioned, I’ll take a bad production over no production at all. That being said, one of the first requests I’d have for the incoming commissioner would be to set a minimum uniform standard for all league members and their television production. As paying subscribers I think they owe us that.

This weekend, will the UND games be televised locally in GF?

Yah I was listening to a podcast with Schloss and he said something about ever since Miami got blown out by St. Cloud, they’ve picked up points in 6 of their last 8 games so definitely are playing better hockey. Also helps having Ludvig Persson in net for them as well.

I’ll be at tomorrow night’s CC/DU game with UND colors on underneath my CC gold, hoping for a miracle. I remember Alex Leclerc with a 50 save performance against DU at Magness and CC stealing a victory one time so I’m hanging onto that as hope they can take at least 3 points this weekend.

Northeastern lost this afternoon to Vermont. That’s a crushing loss for the Huskies. They likely have to win the HE tournament to get in.

Gabinet inexplicably played his other goalie Saturday night. Why not go with the hot hand in Saville??? To boot, the other goalie, Roden, badly misplayed the puck late in the third leading to a costly goal. I won’t lie, I started to cynically wonder if Gabinet was throwing the game for some reason.

Yah, and given how badly outmanned Miami is to Duluth, that’s quite a performance. I’m not seeing any improvement in the RedHawks yet under Bergeron.

I know Miami didn’t win both games this weekend but Ludvig Persson had a really strong weekend. He had a 44 save shut out tonight and stopped 49 of 52 shots last night.

Thanks for your insightful and encouraging post. Up until now, I’ve been stewing big time over Omaha’s loss tonight to the point I’d forgotten the great accomplishment UND had this weekend. You’ve put things in perspective for me, I’m not as soured about Omaha’s loss as I was a few minutes ago. I don’t expect any help from CC next weekend so UND will have to go out and earn it.

Yah you should’ve heard my reaction when they changed the time. I was so freakin nervous.

Who is this guy? Does he cherry pick plays only involving UND players?

The refs seemed to have thought otherwise.

Toward the end of the game the refs reviewed the time on the clock and added back on about 2 seconds more. Moments later, UND iced the puck and Berry looked visibly upset with the officials and Starman said as much. Any insight as to what he was mad about? Should more time have run off the clock?

I think because the game was televised on CBS Sports it makes it harder to find highlights. I’ve been looking and have been unsuccessful.

Something tells me the Omaha players are feeling like kings of the world and are going to go out tonight and party it up, get drunk. Meanwhile, DU will stew over this loss tonight and all day tomorrow and come out tomorrow night and pound Omaha.

Funny how even with that DU always seems to come out ahead with the PP.

Did anyone see the Donnybrook at the end of the Omaha/DU game immediately following Omaha’s empty net goal?

A very good buddy of mine who’s a big CC and Northeastern fan and just an all around big time college hockey fan went to a CC/St. Cloud series. Suffice it to say, his experience was so bad, they didn’t even bother going to the Saturday night game. They ate their tickets and drove down I-94 and attended the Gophers/Harvard game instead.
