Hate to sound cynical but if you look at CC’s non-conference schedule to start the season, it was very weak (UAA, AF, NMU) but then they played well at Western, split with DU and swept ASU so I thought they were for real but man, since Christmas, 1-5, about to be 1-6.

Boy, CC’s sure crapped the bed the second half of the season. Mbereko looks average and the goal scoring has dried up.

I’d love to say CC’s that good but to a man, Duluth really stinks. No discipline, lots of penalties, poor D zone play, and goalies unable to come up with a big save. If CC’s power play didn’t stink so bad, we’d probably have 7 or 8 by now.

I’m at the CC game but heard the outcome of the UND game but would someone bring me up to speed on who took the late penalty and for what?

You can’t call them freshmen at CC. They are referred to as first years.

CC’s scored only 6 goals the last four games and have sunk like a stone in the pairwise. They need a slump buster in a major way.
