I'm going to let off a little steam here. To you morons that don't like it when people stand up and cheer. Don't come to the games! What makes college sports better than professional sports? Students! The crazy drunk students that come and cheer for all they are worth. Stand up and cheer!

I was there Saturday and it was better than games against other WCHA opponents because it was against the Gophers and of the stupid Gopher fans sitting next to us. I swear they are so whiny and think the refs are just out to get them. News Flash, everyone gets hosed!

I think the "Legion of Zoom" is kind of generic. A nickname should be something that has to do personally with the players. Like a combination of names or a combo of other nicknames. I like the "ZaP-enski Line." The "Money Line" would be cool if it was well known. I don't think enough people know about Bochenski's past to understand it, especially non-Sioux fans.

You couldn't pay me to watch the Gophers play somebody other than the Sioux unless it was an NHL team vs. the Gophers because they would literally kill them.

I don't know about just fine. The Gophers don't think it's just fine and that will give them confidence to just shoot the puck like madmen. I say if Brandt can sweep the Gopher series then everything it just fine but until I see Brandt or someone else step up and really take control of a series nothing is just fine.

Truthfully, I am worried about the Sioux in this one. Anytime a team scores 18 goals in a weekend it gets harder to score goals the next weekend. Minnesota won't be messing around when they come into Sioux territory either. Minnesota may say that Wisconsin is there biggest rivalry but that's just because they can beat them everytime. Everyone knows it's the Sioux and the Gophers know it to and want to beat the tar out of the Sioux just as much as the Sioux want to beat the tar out of them. My prediction, I hate to say it, is a split. With are shaky goalies scoring 3 or 4 goals isn't going to win us didley. We will need at least 6 goals a game to beat the Gophs. I think we can do it if the boys just go out and play hockey but if they're thinking about scoring goals it's not going to happen. Gophers win the first game in a close one and Sioux come back the next night and stick it to them.

Boy, it goes on to make the Sioux sound like the Dallas Cowboys.

Well it's early in the season and playing against non-conference teams like Yale I'm sure Blais wants to see what the others can do. That's the beauty of having 5 goalies or whatever they have. I don't think the off season Brandt had helped either.

I was just implying that they go in depth more on shows such as Baseball Tonight, NFL Tonight, and shows like that. I happen to find the World Series of Poker very interesting by the way.

Sioux win 8-4. Ugly win over a less than mediocre Yale team. They aren't awful but they aren't good either. Lundbohm out in the 2nd with an injury and it's still unknown what happened. Poor goalie performance by Parise giving up 3 goals. Ziggy came in and let in a goal. Overall Parise and Ziggy let in 4 goals on 10 shots. That's 40% if you do the math. That doesn't win Championships at any level. Somebody needs to step up. Hopefully Brandt is solid tomorrow night. Good game by Bochenski, Fylling, Murray, and others. Hennessey said Parise looked to be favoring his knee at times. Maybe it would be smart to rest the kid tomorrow and get him angry for the Goophers. A "W" is a "W" on the ole record though. I'll take it.
