Going along those same lines, do some of these owners need to make millions every year off the team? I find it funny how when the players strike, they are crybabies and are making too much money and when the owners lock them out, the players are once again babies and making too much money. No one ever seems to point the finger at some of these owners who make tons of money, but "cook" the books and make it look on paper that they are actually losing money. I'm not taking the player's side on this issue because I think some of the salaries are way out of control, but the owner's tend to have the media on the their side all the time.

As bad as our troubles may seem on offense, especially the inconsistency at QB, our defense has played exceptional, so let's not make it seem like St. Cloud is just going to run over us on sat night. It is going to be a tough, hard fought game, with the NCC title probably on the line, this early in the season.

I have to agree. I really haven't heard a good reason why they won't.

They never say "lower bowl". The closest they say is: It does quote the Student Senate as saying they want "to increase the lower bowl season tickets to a figure that is more in line with the WCHA."

What bothered me about the editorial was how they want to just increase the ticket prices of the non-student season ticket holders to make up for the lost revenue. I have no problem with increases every year, but it is going to start reaching prices that are going to be unaffordable for a lot of people if they do that.

What really bothers me about the inadvertent whistle is that by reading today's paper and listening to last night's game, it sounds like we had possession of the ball when the whistle blew. The rule must be to replay the down, but that is really dumb if another team had taken possession of the ball before the whistle blew.

I agree, our offense will definitely have to step it up a notch. Next weeks game will be a very big test against a good football team, in a hostile environment.

The Defense played very well, but we need to cut back on penalties on both sides of the ball.
