The women haven’t been affected by the portal likely due to the lack of talent. I suppose Borowicz was probably approached about transferring but other than that who would have been in Mal’s time? Having said that, I do think there are 3 players on the current roster that could be at risk of transferring due to their talent level. That would be Schiller, Pemberton and Ibrahim. Schiller would shock me due to her ties. She’s also small so not sure how high of a level she can play at but she’s a great player for us. Pemberton and Ibrahim though? Who knows. If we lose 1 of the 3 listed above, I’m not sure why we delay the inevitable if there is an ultimatum made on next year being a 20+ win season. Find it hard to fathom that can be done without those 3 on the roster unless there’s a home run portal find.

I think the best thing to happen to Omaha was Frankie Fidler. Both being there and then leaving. By him being there he did a good job of hiding the talents of say Marquell Sutton, JJ White and even Osburn. By him leaving, it allowed the offense to open up more and not just run through him. Hell of a job down there by Crutch and Kyan, of course.
