My biggest gripe with Fruechte is the lack of Ziebarth touches. I understand he fumbled the ball but he’s our best hard nosed runner. 4th quarter trying to ice the clock and we run Leigh up the middle twice? That’s not his role. 9 carries for -1 yard….. Got frustrated with the lack of Ziebarth touches last year too. He needs touches to wear the defense down. Now I don’t want to take away from Seidl either though because that kids special.

I think there’s a thought that with the portal there’s now an even larger gap between top FBS schools and the FCS. Probably can make an argument against it. You also mentioned the USD game.
