Yeah, I'm not sure why you would even type that. That is a disgusting thought and you should go to church and ask for forgiveness. -

Could not agree more, I would hate to see him anywhere but UND. -
The hard part to interpret from that tweet, is it Hak leaving that sways Jordan, or is it that Berry is staying. I think he probably would have stayed anyway, then know that Hak is leaving and Berry is staying and the program remains consistent .... maybe that was the factor.
-
From what I have read Strickland is a reliable source. As for the rest, maybe it isn't so much Hak leaving that has Jordan wanting to stay, but the fact that Berry is the one replacing him rather than someone outside the program. Maybe he would have stayed with Hak here too. Just trying to read between the lines. Plus I think part of him would like to become a FA and then sign with Chicago if he can.

Guentzel's next gig will, and should, be a head coaching spot, would love to see him come to UND though. Solid coach and would tick off gopher nation. they can have that clown, John Hill, back. -
Well I agree with that, I was referring more to a strong second half than I was to a weak first half. Agreed this year was extrenely consistent, which I think everyone prefers ... but I do like that they always seemed to enter the playoffs playing their best hockey of the season, as opposed to what we saw from many Gopher teams that seem to completely fall apart right before the tourney.

Wasn't saying to bring back Hak to replace Berry, I meant more if Berry were to ever leave for something else. Its all complete what if scenarios. I agree its Brads team, and I look forward to seeing him succeed. I've been a sioux fan for 12 years, so Hak has been THE guy; it will be really weird to see someone else behind that bench. -

Something to look for in a new assistant. Offensive guru with some creativity. -

I'm interested to see how long Berry coaches here. will this be a 2-3 year stint, or another 10-15 year coach. If he can get back to the NHL, will he? If Hak does not last in the NHL (hope he does for his own sake), would he come back to UND? Personally I hope that Berry continues the success that Blais and Hak have had and is here for a very long run. Time will tell. -

Different sports, Different coach styles, Different Scenarios. Your comparison is apples and oranges. Also Championships are only one factor in the equation. -
Why, they still played a strong second half?
-
It will be interesting to see if this changes UND style of getting really hot during the second half of the season.

Face Time! Greene would be pretty cool to see back here.

Totally agree with you. Not unreasonable for us to get into a position where we are like Northern Iowa or MTST. I think we would have been much quicker without Mussman. I totally agree that Bubba is on the right track. As for Faison, he is a businessman. Has to run his business, and prioritize his focuses. Football has gotten more attention, and will continue to get more attention as it becomes more of a competitive factor. Your comments just came across as somewhat bitter. No need, UND football will get there! Definitely a big fan of what Bubba is doing. Really wish there was a way to get a new stadium on campus. Unfortunately, I have not hit that BIG BIG lotto ticket yet.
-
Doesn't mean he won't. Obviously today was focused around hockey and there is already some success to build on. Let just focus on getting UND into the plays before we focus on being the BEST IN THE COUNTRY. I understand the frustration, but there has to be some understanding as to which program draws from attention from fans and which program draws more income. That being said, I really do want to see UND football get bigger and get better.
-
I wonder why the coaches never looked into Phillip Nelson as an option at QB. Obviously the guy comes with alot of baggage, but could provide a solid addition and some real competition at QB. Not crazy about the idea, just hasn't been much else going on in the football conversation.

I've never been a Philly fan, but I'll definitely pull for Dave to have success there, against anyone but the Wild. -
Hardly disappointing, even if you did want Eades. Its like losing a dollar and finding 4 quarters. I like the pick, I think UND had a lot of good options. Eades was one, Brad was one .... we're in good shape for the future.

Why are the orphans riding a bus?
-
Mine has to be a tie between him throwing up the middle finger at the refs when we played the goofers. OR the timeout that he took when we play the goofs at the Final Five, that completely turned the tide of the game.
-
Can we get Brad to flip off the refs the next time we play the Gophers? Even if (when) we're up 8-0? Just do it Brad.

As nobody else seemed to know, I doubt Zane did. His decision was likely based 100% on him being ready for the next level ... and $$$
