No, he said he we didn't care that we won by such a small margin. Which pretty much everyone actually did.

Is that for real? Guy wrestled a bear? AND you could get a 6 cylinder Oldsmobile for $3 grand?
-
Maybe instead of throwing baseballs at a dunk tank, we could just throw baseballs at them? Thoughts?
-
No doubt, webcast should be a requirement to host, at the very least. Even beyond that, there is not reason the tourney organizers can't work out a weekend deal with CBS Sports, NBC Sports, or Fox College Sports to air the Icebreaker Tourney annually.

Maybe I'm completely making this up, but I though I read somewhere that he was down to Denver and one of the Boston's. I could be WAY off, but I hope he ends up here.
-
I though Fabbro already said UND was out and it wasn't for him. Am I completely making that up, or did I miss something?
-
sportsbet.com has UND as 10.5 point favorites. Would really like to see our offense finish some of the drive they left on the field last week, and make the win convincing.

We need to keep doing what we are doing, and we may start winning some of those recruiting battles. Not all of them; I still think NDSU's ridiculous run of success will speak volumes to kids, but there will also be high end talent that want to play right away. A winning program, and a good coaching staff makes a big difference. Facilities helps too.

General question: Has anyone received their email about the vote? I updated my information on the website, like they advertised, but I haven't heard anything about logging in to vote or anything.
-
Loving some of the recruits this staff is getting. Toivenen sounds like a stud, and Cloyd looks like a BIG receiver. Hope are QB keep progressing to throw to some of these guys.

Irvin-Sills needs a breakout type of week. Not saying he has been bad, but I would like to see a really noticeable game by him.
-
Sounds like Taj Rich is out for the rest of the season.

Had a coach in HS tell me, Polls are for Trolls. They're fun for fans and the media, but ultimately wins and losses are what matter.
-
Won't be able to make the trip up from Minneapolis, but I'll have my green on. Can't wait to watch!

This is a must win game. A team moving in the direction of this team cannot afford to lose a game and take a step back. One game at a time, but this team does have a nice opportunity to make big strides over the next two week with two winnable games. I know we're not there yet, but there is a legit possibility we could be 6-1 heading into MT. That would not have even been a conversation at the beginning of the season. Anyway, time to focus on Idaho St. Between a winning 4-1 program and homecoming, I am hoping the Alerus will be nice an crowded on Saturday. Get the run game going, and keep the defense fresh. Pretty pumped for Saturday!

I guess people still think UND has a lot to prove. Which we do. But with that same mentality, you wonder how Portland St was ever ranked as high as they were.
-
Love that our team is looking so improved. We still have a long ways to go, but it is great that it is Monday morning and I'm already looking forward to Saturday because of UND Football.
-
Is Massey what the ranking go off of, or is that the coaches poll?
-
The Bemidji game would surprise me. I live in Mpls and we get alot of their games on this tptMN channel. Not sure what the schedule looks like, but I'm crossing my fingers.

With all of the QB chatter, and comparisons of QBs over the years, I'm interested to hear opinions on this comparison. Studrud to Bowenkamp? Obviously different style QBs, but which would you rather have playing. Not trying to knock anyone, just a hypothetical. I remember Bowenkamp being really good, but he didn't play the same level of competition. Thoughts???
-
Get will Ratelle to work with him, hard work and the right diet and the kid could fill out nicely.
-
There is the one kid, I think from Red Wing, MN, who sounds like he could be a stud. Next year will be fun, but I'm all about our 4-1 squad at the moment.
-
While I don't believe Studsrud is the best quarterback on the team, I think he has done well with limited skills. Meaning I don't think he is the best passer, and it isn't even close, but he has definitely contributed nicely to the run game. I do expect him to improve his passing game throughout the year. If he can't progress over the next few games, I have bigger concerns. We need to remember, he is young, and didn't have much experience from last year. He is very much a game manager type quarterback, and will probably never dominate the game, but his role is still important and he needs to step up when needed. He did have a few passes today, where I thought, "If he could only do that consistently!". That being said, even a competent passing game (just a mild threat) would open up our offense (and our run game) so much. Regardless, we are 4-1 and coming home to Idaho St. Now I don't care who we are playing, we need to keep our foot on the gas and take care of business. Playoffs are a legitimate conversation right now, but only if we keep playing UND football. Great time, and fun to watch. Go Sioux!

Bahaha, just bored and kids are sleeping. Fun to get the thread started. Glad I can be talented at something ...
