  1. Coming off of a solid win against UC-Davis, why wait to look forward to next weekend? Still a lot of room for improvement for this team, but they have done plenty of things well. Portland St. will be a challenge, and that where this team needs to keep taking steps forward. We CAN win this game, but we need our D to step up and we need to keep going with the run game. In today's game, Portland St. threw a heavy dose of the running, which (if that continues to next week) could make for an interesting match up.
  2. Link? Not going to judge until I see it
  3. Solid win, time to prepare for next week. Portland St. Will be tougher, and would be a huge road win for us.
  4. Completely unacceptable to allow a td in that scenario. If rudolph is listening, RUN THE BALL ... CONTROL THE CLOCK!!!
  5. agreed, wonder if studrud will really be able to be the guy next year and the year after or if heidelbaugh (sp?) Or some other recruit with jump ahead of him.
  6. I was talking more in general, not on a specific play.
  7. rudolph is trying to force studsrud as much as Studsrud is trying to force his passes
  8. Wtf is rudolph doing. Get back to the run game.
  9. Have to get back to that outside run game.
  10. No I said student would leave because our team was so dominant at the time. There is still a big difference between winning at the FCS level, and dominating at the D2 level. Lets be consistently competitive against MT and MT ST and E Washing, compared to destroying Crookston and Augustana. There will be a difference, but first and foremost, we need to get back to winning.
  11. This can be changed with "consistent" winning. When I was a freshman in 03, we packed them in, but student would leave at halftime. This was usually because we were up by so much, a problem that would be nice to get back to.
  12. With what has been said Fabbro appears to be leaning away from UND. There are plenty of good reasons to go to UND, and plenty of good reasons to go elsewhere. DU would certainly be appealing. Strong program, cool city, nice campus. If the kid feel comfortable there, then I get it. I wondered for a while how player continued to be interested in Wisconsin with how down there program has been recently. Then I went to Madison for a friend's wedding. What a cool place. Nice sized city, awesome campus. The lake area is awesome, and if you ever sit at a patio bar on state street, grab a beer, and look up the hill at the capitol; it is like something out of a movie. Really awesome place. Bottom line, everyone had different factors that make a school/campus comfortable or home. I sure hope Fabbro decides to be a Fighting Sioux, but I can't blame the guy if he chooses elsewhere (unless its MN )
  13. Totally, need to win the game, and have some explosive plays. This can't just be a win, but it needs to be exciting and entertaining. Even if the defense were to have a bad game and it was an offensive shootout, that would still be ok. We just need to win, move forward, and engage the fans.
  14. Totally, maybe not a must win, from a win-loss season ending outcome. But in terms of defining the program and the season, it is all about taking steps forward.
  15. With this game being stream through the eversports website, is the webcast still free?
  16. This is the kind of mentality we need to get away from. Losing to a program, who is on a similar level to us, at home, should be considered disappointing. UND needs to take step forwards. 3-1 going on the road next week, or 2-2 going on the road. In some ways, this is a must win game, not just by score, by by style. Do we win? Do we win like we did against Wyoming? Do we win like we did against Drake? Go Sioux!
  17. Glad I could contribute to this thread, but my internet history is going to look really really weird at work. UC Davis Roster, Christian Bale, Wanda Sykes, Webster and Barney. ..... Sure HR, I can meet first thing Monday morning.
  18. There are good points to both sides of the argument. First, let take any personal opinion of using North Dakota/No Nickname. Whether or not you do or do not like that is irrelevant to this conversation. Yes, Kelley appointed a committee. Yes, Kelly is the President. The President needs to show leadership, and could override the committee if he wanted. Ultimately, the buck stops with him. Yes, the entire process was a circus, and executed poorly. If UND/No Nickname was not going to be an option, it should have been discussed from the beginning and scratched. Instead the waffled back and forth more than Brett Favre. Again personal preference aside, this was a highly popular option and it was pretty poor of the committee and the President to not allow the voters to have the option they wanted. Basically a "We know better than you" type of thing. Yes, Sundogs sucks and it is ridiculous that it is in the top 5. Plenty of option that would have been better. Yes, these options are all pretty pathetic. No, nothing is going to put North Dakota back on the table, or bring back Fighting Sioux (officially) GO SIOUX!
  19. UC Davis Mascot Gunrock, looks like he may have a distant cousin ..... really puts the fear of God in you.
  20. Tyshone Gaines and Gerald (From Hey Arnold)
