Lets just get this guy to play both. Basketball players often make great TEs because they have good hands, and at 6'8", I'd love to see him catching some jump ball TDs.

I agree with pretty much everything you just said. Gray pants would accent well with the green Jersey. Love the helmets though; they do need a little more green, but the matte gray looks terrific. Maybe they can get matte black next year.

Anyone hear if the gray uniforms are going to happen for sure this year? I still say that helmet looks pretty sharp.

I totally agree with you, these players need to take time and do what is right for them and their futures ... BUT .... Of course we are impatient as fans, we just saw an amazing team win the national championship, and we are all on a hockey high. We just want the reassurance that we will have all of the solid talent to go Hang 9! Granted I think we always have the talent to make a run and win in, but we're greedy, we want the proven talent that has been here and done it.

I'd be surprised if that happened and it wasn't posted on this forum. I think someone may have said he was going to and the Hawks were going to handle some surgery for him, but I believe it was pure speculation. Nothing official yet.

I like this idea. There are definitely a few nice features within the current Gamble Hall, but I can't say I would be completely devastated if they bulldozed the building.

Can't wait for football to start! I really hope there are some more TV options this year. Last year it was fun to watch the Drake game on Fox College Sports, and Big Sky TV works ok, but it would be really nice to be able to watch more on TV without having to log on and hook up my computer.

Too bad, would like to see him stay, but he also wouldn't be the biggest loss we've had. Would be sweet to see Ladue decide to stay. Regardless, I think both Shaw and Wolanin will step up nicely next year. I though Wolanin looked really good early in the year, then sort of level off and blended in; hopefully having a season under his belt will really help him. I could see him stepping up into a Stecher type role as far as being an offensive defenseman.

Hope the news is true about Paul, hopefully that was also keep LJ here. Definitely surprised Paul hasn't already been signed. It sounded like that was going to be done by this past weekend. I sincerely do not see Quinnipiac winning it all next year. Losing Anas hurts a ton, despite what some people on this forum think about how tough he is. Will they be good? Probably. But they do lose Anas, St. Denis, and Garteig. I see the top 3 teams being among the top 3 again in the ECAC. Yale loses Lyon, Harvard loses Vesey, Quinnipiac loses Anas , St. Denis and Garteig. I just don't buy that QU will be the same team next year, or go to the title game.

This is great news. The very definition of the level of competition that we need on this team. Whoever is going to be the starter needs to EARN it, and who ever is the backup will still be very good. Sounding like Palmborg is going to be a very good player, and earn a scholarship ... he was a walk on, right?
