I'll agree that the past few years have been a lot of fun. Not willing to say the Bison are slipping yet because they "only" made it to the semi-finals, and did not win a 6th straight title. I'll wait until they go 1 and done in the playoffs or miss them completely before I start talking about program regression.

Anyone who understand this all better than I do, Will the BSC member pretty much be locked into a play in game at this point? If UND were to win out and/or win the conference tourney, is there still a shot to move up to a #15? Does this have a lot to do with surprise teams in other conference winning their auto bids?

I prefer 7:30, but only because that is bedtime for my kids, meaning I can actually relax and watch the whole game. haha

Wasn't that mostly because the programs were garbage and not contributing much to the conference? Doubt that becomes the case with UND hockey.

So, it was a year ago this weekend that UND almost swept #12 USC.

I've said it before, I'm no great basketball mind, but that refs were just terrible last night. I was glad to see Jones get the T and let them know how bad they were. Solid win by UND. Can't wait for Saturday night. I'll be watching on my tablet while the hockey game rolling as well. This team is a lot of fun to watch. So much potential here in the late part of the season.

Not saying UND will be replacing their logo, but I think it is fairly obvious UND will need to expand beyond a single logo at some point. Just as most schools do. Not saying it will be this one, but the school will absolutely need additional logos and merchandise. Personally, I think it would be smart to give another option or two (sooner than later) to get more people to buy into the new name. I don't particularly love the name or the logo, but accept them both. The name will not change, but the school can come out with multiple logos. I'd like to see some with a little more creativity. I've intended to buy some Hawks gear, but have not yet. Just haven't see anything worth buying yet. If this guy thinks that he has a shot to sell his product to the school, then marketing it and selling it is the best way to do that. Show someone proven sales number, and you will get their attention. I agree, he could also shop it around to other teams/clubs; though I'm not sure if he is doing that or not. Seems to be a pretty small business right now. Regardless, my whole point was props to the kid for getting out there and trying.

Props to the kid for cleaning him self up, getting sober, and trying to go into business for himself. What is he supposed to say? "We're trying to provide an alternative logo for people who think the current one sucks"? That wouldn't be the smartest way to build your business. Of course he has to say that there is no affiliation to the University, doesn't mean he wouldn't like there to be at some point. Best way to do that is not piss off the University right now. Advertise your business, build your brand, and make sales. If you can do that, and go to the University with competitive sales numbers of your logo, or product, then maybe you can get them to sign on. For a lot of us fans, this is about a logo or a name, for this kid it is also about building a business and making a living. If he does it the right way, maybe he hits it big with a UND contract .... may not. But he is taking a chance on building something for himself; have to respect that.

If moved to the Big Ten would all games be available on the Big Ten app? And does anyone know if that is available on Roku? Love the NCHC app, and would hate to not be able to watch every game. Obviously some games would be on TV through the Big Ten Network, but I assume all other games would be available through the app.

I've always said that I want nothing to do with Big Ten hockey, but I am definitely warming to the idea. If that does happen, I would like to see regular non-conference games with Denver, and possibly Duluth or SCSU (maybe alternating years). Get CC on the schedule every few years, but that one isn't exactly a rivalry. If you can keep DU, and some MN teams on the schedule, there is a huge benefit to the move. Money, obviously; but also getting to see MN and WI in conference games. The Michigan schools would be fun too; we've definitely had some great NCAA tournament games against Michigan. Ohio State doesn't do much for me, but they have certainly put together some decent teams together every couple years. Penn St doesn't do much for me either, but definitely a team that has become competitive quickly. Not sure if this offer will actually happen, but UND would certainly have to look at the offer. I like the NCHC, but if we made the move to Big Ten, I'd hardly be upset.

Throw out the team records. If UND doesn't show up, the way they have recently, they could drop a very winnable game. Would love to see a commanding lead to build some momentum and get the starters a little extra rest before heading to Weber. Ultimately, just get the win.

All of the talk I've heard about Orleans Arena vs T-Mobile arena, and I'm a little disappointed in the explanations that have been provided. Particularly by Schlossman. Can't we just blame the Gophers? Thanks a lot Lucia!
