  1. I'm not taking a sigh of relief until the RB screen game is shown.....and often.....
  2. I miss the baseball and swimming and diving programs. Still feel terrible for them. Those programs were rich in history, tradition and success.
  3. UND officially dropped the nickname and logo in 2012. Kennedy started the job in July of 2016. By the fall of 2016, Kennedy was aggressively making his calls and visits to procure the move. This is fact. In January 2017, the official announcement was made for UND switching to Summit/MVFC. That's a pretty fast move by Kennedy. Are you saying nobody from UND "asked" for 4 years?
  4. Because of Kennedy... The move was made because of Kennedy's push and diligence with the MVFC and Summit. I truly believe this was the reason it was done so fast (relative to Kennedy's arrival at UND).
  5. Just my opinion.....Mike was the better candidate for UND. But Morton looks good on paper, agreed. I'm simply stating what I know of the situation. Again, Josh Morton is a good guy and will be successful somewhere.
  6. He applied and interviewed and wasn't named a finalist. I'm not even sure he was in the final 6. Good guy. Will probably be successful when he's hired somewhere but just was apparently outclassed by the quality of the candidate pool in the committee's eyes.
  7. Yes. Lets just say the wheels are in motion. Cant say anything more than that at this point.
  8. Kennedy fired Faison because he was bad at his job and had no energy. Kennedy only needed a year or so to figure it out after being told by many that it was the case when he arrived on campus as President. In addition, Faison's donor relations were abysmal. I truly believe we are in a much better place with Kennedy and Chaves right now. The future is bright for UND. HPC Phase II meeting was held today on campus.
  9. FYP.
  10. HOLY $H*T!!! Will someone please shut this down?...
  11. #2.5 should be "Spirit Lake voted 2 to 1 to keep the nickname and logo". #3 should be amended to "Standing Rock couldn't even get it on the ballot because of the political oppression of their own tribal council".
  12. I say we get a petition going...
  13. I have been told by a reliable source that his salary would be north of 1 million, plus reasonably attainable incentives that could make it 1.3. Even if I'm wrong, subtract the 491k from Hitt's salary and look where he's at. Having said that, my gut says he doesn't get the job.
  14. I can't imagine the student has some sort of agenda with the questioning.... Honestly, politician or not, what is wrong with this response?.... Some people need to get a grip. The guy is looking to increase his annual compensation by 1 million in the state of Florida at a school that just rag-dolled an SEC darling and 'claimed' a FBS National Championship...
  15. Only 14 pages?....
  16. I agree 100%. But that is a completely separate fiscal issue for the annual budget. However, UND Football alums will be privately fundraising for uniforms and helmets I believe this year. UND Football alums alone raised north of 1.2 million dollars in the last year via the leadership of the National Football Alumni Committee which are earmarked for facilities (Phase II), priority needs, scholarships and endowments. The UND Football endowment currently sits around 2 million.
  17. Yeah...so? We still have more to do. ndsu's locker rooms, coaches offices and meeting rooms > UND Phase I in terms of recruiting. Furthermore, has he seen ours?... This is our Phase II. Ask the staff how important this is in recruiting.
  18. Correct. And better facilities will give you better recruiting.
  19. Womens lacrosse, mens baseball. Thumbs up.
  20. Goedert was a walk-on. Wieneke "only had one offer". No chance either could be good players at the FCS level.
  21. Ok so you see no correlation between recruiting and facilities. Noted.
