Sounds like Ndsu had a few NCAA related suspensions after the semifinal game for testing positive for banned substances which were being distributed to the players by the staff. Brock Robbins being one of them. Hearing he's gonna lose his final year of eligibility because of it. Pass the popcorn... Or watch the silence from Fargo media....

Your premise on being the most in-bred staff in the country is patently false though in my opinion. Admittedly the definition is pretty subjective, but... Of the 10 coaches on the staff currently, 3 are actual alums (Schmidt, Freund and Schwenzfeier). I'll give you Bubba because of his vast experience with the program over 4 different decades. All indications point towards the OL coach hire being an outsider. So even with Bubba (a non-alum), that's 4 out of 11. Is it really that bad in-breeding on staff?

So under your definition of "in-bred", when Sam King was hired the first time as a GA, Bubba went outside the circles of UND Football to find him in the first place and hired "new blood". But after Sam coached at UND for 2 years, then went to Duluth to coach running backs under Noah Pauley for 2 years in UMD's high octane offense, he's now considered an in-bred hire and not new blood or new-fangled ideas? Got it.

Contrary to expert opinion here.... We need a HS QB in this class. Also, they are very high on Grover. He, Boltmann and Kett will be the 3 battling for the job in spring ball and into fall camp.

Before Saturday, Weber offense was averaging 266 ypg and 25 points Idaho State averaged 543 ypg and 43 points. Statistically, the offenses are apples and oranges.....but keep going....
