  1. Lol good point. Probably not given his size as a TE!
  2. Would have been weird watching an OLB return punts.
  3. Hes been working out with the team for about a month.
  4. Between McKinney, Adeoti and Griebel, we have 3 incoming guys with 'jet' type traits. Although I consider Griebel more of an option in the backfield as a 3rd down scat back than the other 2, all 3 could easily be in the mix for the rotation. I see Griebel as a slash type guy, while Adeoti and McKinney are WRs. Although McKinney has the upper hand after going through spring ball and weights, it could be a battle between those 3 this fall to see who redshirts and who doesnt. I can't imagine them pulling the redshirt off all 3, but I don't think 2 is out of the question especially pending injuries etc. Those 3 will complement our bigger 'X' type receivers well: - Stanley (6-4 Junior) - Toivonen (6-3 Soph) - Wanzek (6-4 Soph) - Mercer (6-2 Senior) - Carr (6-2 Senior) - Dulin (6-4 Soph) - Bartosh (6-2 Junior) - Pifer (6-3 Freshman) Some wildcards and unknowns there obviously, but the pure size of our WR depth chart is pretty impressive.
  5. You aren't gonna see anyone complete the final year of their contract either without a new deal in place. 4 years is too much given the record and history. I'm ok with the salary.
  6. Cant believe they gave him 4 years. Wow.
  7. Would you have rather been NAU, Sac St, Weber, EWU, MSU or Montana last school year in the Big Sky?..... Or UND?
  8. Adidas, Nike, Under Armour, whatever.....just take the best deal that is offered for the entire department. Seems like Adidas and Under Armour tend to give the best team deals and perks over Nike in the past. And everyone better get on board, including mens basketball.
  9. Added to your post.....:)
  10. @SiouxVolley, can you answer this question for me regarding your comment on Carr Sports? Just want to be sure I'm understanding correctly. Recent clients for a FBS move for all 3 schools you mentioned?
  11. Yes...for the D2 to D1 moves. Or are you implying that they are recent clients for a FCS to FBS move?
  12. Mel Kiper says Deion Harris is #5 senior CB for 2018: http://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2018/insider/story/_/id/19351953/mel-kiper-way-too-early-2018-nfl-draft-rankings-top-prospects-every-position
  13. This is all about securing quality depth with an experienced BSC QB who never redshirted. Ketteringham has fantastic tools. Our DC hated prepping for him because of his skill set. The staff is also very high on Zimmerman. Both these guys will push each other for 2018 and that is a GREAT thing. Whomever ends up winning the job will be forced to prepare and play their best each week because they know there is a very good QB waiting for their opportunity. My point being, Ketteringham starting in 2018 is not a done deal. Zimmerman will have something to say about that. Someone will need to fight and earn it. Perfect scenario for developing Heidlebaugh (if he stays at QB), Bolinske and Boltmann for 2019 and beyond. This is a big deal for UND Football.
  14. Safety, yes for sure I think. Could be a JUCO or FBS guy. Linebacker I think is less likely at this point unless something pops up and is too good to pass up. A transfer OL is still being considered though.
  15. We have moved on from JoJo. He wouldn't make the full commitment to us and we got tired of waiting. Too bad, I liked him.
  16. Wallner is on track to be a first round pick in the 2019 MLB draft...just crazy.
