  1. He is another Shockey. Can't compete at this level, at least to the point that it makes UND a top team
  2. Very similar to Bison fans "remembering" how all UND fans said they were going to fail at D1 and aren't good enough for that level. Sure there were some uninformed fans that lumped NDSU in with Duke, UNC, Forida State etc because of the D1 label - not knowing that they were really going to be playing in the GWFC and Summit League. Of course they would be fine playing vs D1-AA teams in FB. That took on a life of it's own as well.
  3. Interesting to see the rumor that NDSU's top assistant is leaving for the same job at Omaha.
  4. When there is a coaching change some players enter the portal to protect themselves and setup a plan in case they don't like the new hire. The new coach knows this and meets with them to present her/his plan for the team and to invite the player to stay.
  5. At this point I believe it
  6. Who is the new fb sid?
  7. 360 writeup has him at 255. Plenty big enough to play end in a 3-4 where they move alot
  8. DE
  9. Or they realize these spring game suck at every school in the country and were boring in the 90s, let alone this day and age.
  10. To be fair to him, NDSU's defensive line is always very good
  11. Appreciate the insight. We need help on line
  12. We'll take him!
  13. The days of this type of thing are over. Would rather they don't do it at all.
  14. Rizzo would've helped. Weatherby also.
  15. To be fair, recruiting has been tougher lately as the locker room has aged itself out. Not much to sell
  16. Anybody got a link to watch? Don't have a provider
  17. To compare the Fargodome has two direct outlets to I-29 and three separate ways to get out of their parking lots. The Alerus Center has one way out. Why? Because it's up against I-29 (too close).
  18. I hear they did OK. Conflicting
  19. Seybian Sims ended up playing in 13 games and averaging 2 pts/game.
  20. Name one coach who has ever finished his contract. Like it runs out and then he leaves or retires....WITHOUT a succession plan publically in place. I realize its probably happened in the history of sports but not very often. A coach retires still under contract quite a bit for roster retainage and recruiting reasons.
  21. We will have to wait and see
  22. They don't have to buy anything out if a coach retires.
  23. I am often wrong but this may be symbolic for recruiting purposes. Rarely ever does a coach go into the last year of contract anymore. I still feel he has 1-2 years left of coaching
  24. Updated: I was wrong.
